The Willisps howled ominously in pain, and two made a nail appear out of nowhere. They drove them slowly into their own ghostly bodies, and pulled them out. They then threw them at Fancifowl. The ghosts fainted, and appeared to disappear, with the nails, but the wounds were still there. Three other ghosts started sprouting seeds, and launched them at Fancifowl. They grew roots, which dug into Fancifowl's feathers. It cawed, tried to scratch them off, and failed. And two other Willisps floated in the background, slowly growing.

"Peck your way out!" Fancifowl pecked the roots off its wings, then used Peck on more of the Willisps.

Three more Willisp fell, moaned, and disappeared. The two left did not seem pleased. They started to spin, emitting screeches occasionaly. Two more seeds flew at Fancifowl, and took root on it's wings. The Willisp slowly started to fade. Suddenly, one Willisp disappeared, leaving only one Willisp there. In the other's place was what appeared to be a small stone. The Willisp pointed to it, and it flew towards it. It hit it in the head, but didn't hurt it. The stone then shown a leaf pattern, and the area filled with blinding light. Once the light was gone, there were no Willisp. Instead, one large Wispry. It then started singing a pleasant melody. The last note, however, was a horrible screech. Fancifowl tried to close his ears, but he heard the sour note anyways. Suddenly, a small noise was made, and the small Mareep appeared out of nowhere, baaing, ready to fight.

((Don't ask why I had it learn Perish Song upon evolution. It could have been an egg move that they all knew, but didn't use until only one was left.))

"Mareep! I need your help." She nodded as she the released what seemed to be a Charge Beam. (OOC: TM move from the farmer. I think it can work.) The Wispry fainted, then disappeared, and Fancifowl was freed from the Leech Seed. "Wow, how did a little lamb like you know a strong electric attack like that?" Manuel was astonded.

James had woken up and had found where Manuel had gone. He came in just in time to see the small Mareep take down the Wilspry with a Charge Beam. "Wow." Lucas said, clearly in awe from the small sheep's performance. He walked over to where Manuel stood, and congratulated him on getting another pokemon. The farmer then came back in, and saw the little Mareep. "So that's whure you ran off to. Wull, I guess he's yours." He said, again mispronouncing 'e's. James and Manuel then walked back to the old farmhouse.

"Do you mean it?" Manuel asked, "Thank you so much. I'd love to have this little guy on my team." The mareep jumped for joy, then rubbed herself on Manuel's leg, causing his hair to stand up.

((That wasn't fun. We need MOAR WILLISP!))

A weird moaning was heard, and all of a sudden they were surrounded by Willisp. As they closed in, they scattered about the farm, scaring the Mareep and causing them to hide themselves in the barn. "Loks like we'll be playing hide 'n seek with ghosts. C'mon, it'll be fun!" 'Nbelievable said, running off with Intolerate (I don't know what Incoh'rent stands for).

Award for Extreme Patience
Always hotter than the competition. I got the award for Braving the Marquee of Doom!

Lucas walked off to the farm, Willisp swarming. He sent out Fancifowl, as none of Stribra's moves wouldn't do anything to the ghosts. Fancifowl cawed, and Pecked several Willisp repeatedly. He tried to dodge several Leech Seeds, but a few got onto him regardless.

Finding a Willisp behind the barn, he had Fancifowl Peck it before it could react. it fainted, and they moved on.

"Not more of them. Mareep, use charge beam!" Mareep released a long beam of electricity, zapping many of the willisps.

James sent out Fancifowl, who then Pecked several Willisp. Then, quick as the wind, something knocked all of the remaining Willisp out. They disappeared, and the thing zoomed back to its master. The master was a tall boy wearing a black cloak with rust-colored edges. He had black hair, and carried a leather drawstring pouch. He had black gloves on, and black boots. But his eyes, they were a soul-sucking icy blue, that looked like they could pierce through your heart. The thing next to him, a small Murkrow, cawed. And then another Pokemon appeared, this time a Misdreavus. Then, he spoke, his voice harsh, cold, demanding. "You two, go!" It was just three little words, but from them you could know his entire horrid personality. The Murkrow flapped over to Manuel, while Misdreavus floated to 'Nbelievable. The person smirked, and plucked a small Pokeball out of his pouch. "Time for your demise." He said slowly to James, and tossed the Pokeball. Out of it came a small dark primate. "Mandri, drilurk!" It chirped cheerfully, but with a hint of anger and power in that voice also. James sent out his Stribra. "Stribra, Tail Whip!" He called, and the small equine creature shook its tail tauntingly.

((This is your rival. His pokemon are all Level 8.))

Mareep seemed to get weary, so it would be unable to battle. "Go fancifowl!" Manuel sent out his pokeball and the duck popped out. "Night Slash!" Fancifowl's wing glowed purple as she charged at the Murkrow.

((First of all, you're facing a Murkrow. Second, it is a Mandrilurk, my opponet.))

Murkrow tried to dodge, but was scraped by the attack. It cawed angrily, and went to attack Fancifowl, wings flapping. "Tackle it now!" James told his Stribra, who charged at the monkey. When it made contact, Mandrilurk bit down on its flank, hard. Stribra winced, and kicked off the creature.

The mysterious man gestured at his three pokemon, and they all moved on their ways. Murkrow cawed and started to Peck at Manuel's Fancifowl wildly. The Mandrilurk Taunted Stribra, which made it angry at the annoying monkey creature. Misdreavous started screeching a song made of Astonishes at Unbelievabl''s Fancifowl, hurting it's ears.

Fancifowl was freaking out from all of the noises, but it soon realized that they weren't doing anything and did a head on Peck to it.

((I guess you forgot that Astonish doesn't affect a Normal type like Fancifowl))

While the Fancifowl was distracted by the red herring attack, Misdreavus started to charge up a powerful Psywave inside her spirit gems. When the bird flew towards the spirit, ready to attack, she shot the beam.

Meanwhile, James' Stribra had Tackled the small Mandrilurk, who hung on to Stribra's neck with it's strong jaws, gnawing at the tender meat. Stribra tried to shake it off, but the maw of Mandrilurk would not budge.
