I'm not sure about the capybara. But everything else sounds familiar.

What about Alpaquick? It's an alpaca, sure, but it's close to a llama.

Yeah... by the definition of the article (they excluded chipmunks because Pachirisu is a squirrel and that's close enough), Alpaquick would count as a "llama". I'll edit my previous post.

We do have a Gila Monster, but I can't remember it's name or number, but it evolves into a Komodo Dragon.

Oh, now that you mention it, Destoxila (PF273) is a Gila monster, and yes it does evolve into a Komodo dragon (Desmodo, PF274). I'll add that to the list.

There are a lot of animals Pokémon hasn't covered. A flying fish, for example (like the one I'm making!).

I did a capybara Pokemon once but it sucked so I got rid of it. It was part of a Grass-type starter line that I plan to tweak and resuggest as an ordinary Pokemon line later.

I think Bidoof might be a capybara, or at least partially based off of it. It evolves into a beaver, a rodent that lives in watery enviroments, but it's just a beaver without a tail, so it might be a capybara, another water rodent

I'm suprised there's no polar bear Pokemon yet. I mean, there's an ice type, and Ice=Artic=Polar bear

Also, @greek freak: Bidoof doesn't have a beaver tail, but Bibarel does. Though some Pokemon change animal-basis upon evolution, and tey're a LOT more random than capybara > beaver (Remoraid to Octillery changes from archer fish to octopus)
