((Okay. Sorry for my confusion.))

Hermes jumped, threw the hand aside, and attempted to go back into the lower parts of the cave, digging at the rocks with his hands. Akio stood back, softly laughing to himself. He was doing that so nobody would notice the faint pink glimmer inside his wand's crystal. He was already trying to summon a Spirit Bomb. He jumped as the glimmer tried to escape the crystal, melting off a little of it in the process. He hoped nobody had been looking at him. He quickly stopped trying to make the Spirit Bomb when everybody got over Hermes' reaction.

Shade chuckled, "I love doing that. It makes everyone freak out. But all joking aside, I need you to help control my shadow side." He stretched out his hand. "Who will help me?"

Titan walked forward and stuck his head in. "I've been doing it for as long as I've known you. Hah." replied Titan.

Hermes started to get up and turned towards Shade. "Haha," he said sarcastically, "Very funny. I'll help, however, but pull another trick like that, and I might change my mind." And his face was stoic and serious. Akio turned towards Shade. "I'll also help." He said open-heartedly.

ShinE had looked at what was going on before replying to Jinchin. He had noticed that Akio already started to gain the ability to gather energy for the Spirit Bomb attack, and he felt proud of the Prankstar. However, he wasn't entirely sure if it was a good thing that this 'Shade' guy got characteristics of a shadow pokémon, but the group probably had not no choice but to handle it.
"Okay, so as you can see, the ring I gave you guys will alarm you as soon as shadow pokémon are nearby. That's why it made sounds when Shade took it. I hope it will make your journey a bit less dangerous, but you still need to stay as alert as ever, of course!" ShinE looked at the group. "So, any idea where you are heading next?"

((I went ahead and had Akio already be able to start Spirit Bomb because, being a Shiny pokemon, would feel connected to ShinE, the creator of Shinies.))

"And I recieved a letter from Hermes telling me to come to the Majestic Mountains, and Jinchin...um....chose to go with us." Akio said, getting the letter from Hermes' pack to show ShinE.

"'Chose' works, I guess," the Pichu commented cryptically. Turning to Shade, he said pointedly, "I'll help until it endangers my personal health, m'kay? I'm not killing myself for you, and you need to know that now." Then, sighing slightly, he added, "But I'm still in. Mountains work for me."

Turning to ShinE, Jinchin said simply, "Thank you - for everything."

((OOC: Completely unrelated: I was thinking having a Pupitar as a partner would be cool, but I realize even Tyranitar only learns a very small amount of HMs. Could you get it to work, sob? If not, I'll keep brainstorming.))

ShinE smiled. "No, thank you for coming here and agreeing to help us out," ShinE replied. "Also, be very careful while travelling over the mountains. Next to the Cargan Desert, the Majestic Mountains are one of the places where shadow pokémon tend to lurk most."
With that warning, ShinE waved goodbye and Teleported himself to a different part of the Ruins to start restoring what had been damaged.

Our heros started back up on their journey as they approached the entrance to the Majestic Mountain trail. Shade stared ominously at the tip of Mt. Pinnacle. "I think I know who sent that message," Shade remarked, "but the energy is so faint that I can't tell."

Akio started when he heard energy; using the basic parts of Spirit Bomb he could suck energy out of the letter, energy that was stored by who had touched it. "Hermes, can I see that letter?" Akio asked. Hermes dug in his bag for a few seconds, and plucked the letter out. He handed it to Akio, who looked over it carefully. He waved his crystal-set wand over the letter, and energy floated out. Some sparkling white from Akio, some blue tinted with orange from Hermes, and after some more color spectacles, an unfamiliar one appeared. It was green, with white and purple blobs floating through it. From the sender. He showed the orb to Shade. "Do you know who sent it now?" Akio asked him.

Before Shade could answer, a Winnflow sped by as it snatched the letter. "Hey, give that back!!" Shade ran after it as fast as he can.

Hermes shook his head disgracefully, and ran after Shade and the thieving Winnflow. Once he caught up with the panting Shade, he called out. "And this is why you should leave the running to the speedster." He ran ahead of Shade, and caught up with Winnflow. He lunged out, but Winnflow just avoided him. "Sonic Wind!" He yelled. A gust of wind came out of nowhere, and blasted at the Winnflow. It growled in pain, and tried to lunge at Hermes. "Cloudcall!" He shouted, and clouds rushed to his aid, lifting him above the theif. "Breeze." He called calmly, and the letter came rushing back to him, carried by the breeze.

The winnflow stopped in its tracks. It then looked up. "NOW!" it shouted! Suddenly, a strong thunder struck the entire group, leaving them unconscious.

Everyone woke up to see that they're tied up. A boltweiler, shephur, arcanine, sentanubi, and the winnflow from before appeared in front of them.

Akio came to his senses, and noticed all the angry pokemon around them. He looked at the others, and saw that a few were already conscious also. Hermes, however, being weak to Electric-Type moves, was still very groggy and was mumbling to himself. "Urrrrrggghhh.......Sunnyshore is such a nice spot....uuuhh..." He groaned. "Why did you do that, why do you want the letter, and what's with the theme?" He asked these questions in a row, noticing how they all seemed canine.

"All we want is one of you, while everyone else can tossed away." Winnflow swayed.

"We finally get some payback! Let's just kill them now!!" Boltweiler sneered.

"Hold your dog bones Zeus," Shephur responded, "we should our leader know before we do ANYTHING else."

((OOC: So, do both of you know what's going on? Because I fell so out-of-the-loop. :/ And that's great about Pupitar, I'll sign the character up soon-ish - I'm actually away on vacation right now, so my internet is limited.))

Jinchin, having been least effected by the Thunder, was safe - thanks to his ninja-like techniques coupled with his Electric typing, he was actually hidden close by, a Substitute in his wake. As it was, he was still recovering and didn't have the strength as of yet to help his friends either way. Making absolutely no noise, the Pichu continued to watch the scene unfold below his perch.

((OOC: This is okay, right? I just feel that Jinchin has taken a backseat in all this stuff.))
