Akio gasped as the statue crumbled into dust, leaving behind a yellow capital E in it's place. The pokemon stood as if in a daze, but Akio remembered the fight when he was attacked by one of Gork's copies. He turned towards it, and saw that it had a red gem instead of the original's black gem. Then it's hands started to glow a black fire, and he realized that the gem color was in relation to there types. He stabbed the copy with a Shine Saber, shooting a Quick Spell at the same time. Then he noticed the statue-pokemon started to glow and flicker with light. "Another Light-type!", he exclaimed. He manipulated the magical light which was still providing light for the entire cave around the pokemon, absorbing a little of it's light each time. All of a sudden, a great headache came over Akio. It felt like his brain was splitting and then melting. He was driven to the ground, though he tried to fight the urge. He turned around, and saw a Gork-copy wiht a pink gem. It's a Psychic-type, he thought before his wand was driven out of his hand and he was thrown against the rocky ground. He suddenly felt oddly happy, and his mind was starting to drift into unconciousness. The ball of light was left at the creature's mouth, and Hermes was still gaping at the open-mouthed creature. He then noticed his friend falling to the ground, and jumped down to help. He was shot with sharp ice shards, and he started his Sonic Wind tornado again, followed closely by clouds.

Akio drifted into unconsciousness, seeing only black. Hermes was dashing around the cave, trying to avoid being hit. He got Aqua Jet to go around his Sonic Wind tornado. He occasionally jumped out of the hurricane, with water pushing him forward, slamming into Gork-copies. He managed to make the Fire-Gork faint, and he then flickered out of existence. Though as he dissapeared, two more sprung from his fading body. There's too many, he thought, come on, whoever you are, help.

Akio started to come to his senses, but his vision was blurred. He noticed the yellow E starting to raise his arms, creating a pink aura around his hands. The psychis energy combined with his light ball created a pinkish-yellow orb, which started to move. The yellow pokemon shouted, and loosed the glowing psychic bomb. Akio was suddenly scooped up by a gust of wind, and Hermes appeared next to him. "Can you walk?" Hermes shouted over the ruckus of the screaming Gork and Gork-copies. Akio blearily shook his head, and Hermes grimaced. Hermes, in his own tornado, created one for Akio, who spun around without control, following the speeding Malte. The panic of the Gorks eventually caused the walls to start crumbling, and Hermes shouted. "Shade! Titan! Jinchin! Whoever-You-Are! Come on! This place is falling! Come on!" He repeated. Akio and Hermes waited under the hole leading above to the upper part of the Ruins of Cipher. Stalactites fell from the ceiling, each one narrowly missing everybody.
