Quickly muffling his ears, the otherwise flinch-causing move missed it's target. The Pichu, now thoroughly aggravated, decided to use his emotions to his advantage; Frustration! Flailing madly, the pokemon launched of his perch into a full-on attack.

((OOC: I'm assuming Titan's level about equals Jinchin's. Maybe he's up by even 10, but that's still only 30% accuracy, so. . . . ))

((OOC: Well, Pichu's pretty high up there as well, having been trained to near-death, but I'll change it if you really think I should. And I'm supposed to say if it hit or not, soble.))

Quickly regaining his footing, the Pichu now looked at his opponent carefully. I haven't even touched him yet! Very well, then. Double Team.

Duplicates of the mouse suddenly appeared, all identical - and all attempting to touch the hulking Lairon. Hopefully, my Static ability will end this soon.

Suddenly losing his footing in the crumbling earth, the Pichu grimaced. Substitute! he thought wildly, once again forming a double of himself to take the hit as he rapidly attempted to leave the blast radius. He was able to do so, but coupled with all the damage he'd taken and the hit points he'd just used up on the barely-still-standing Substitute, he'd lose this battle quite soon if he didn't do anything. Perhaps the fool will believe the fake doll is me again, the pokemon thought grimly. Hopefully for long enough to distract it.

Swearing lightly, the Pichu attempted a Grass Knot again. Just in case the same trick wouldn't work twice, he began storing electricity for a Volt Tackle. Certainly double-edged, certainly his last option. He didn't even glance at the Metal Burst - it wasn't aimed at the Pichu, but at one of his Double Team clones. One of the few to survive the Earthquake, the clone looked for all the world like the real mouse pokemon, even gasping faintly as it struggled to remain standing. Hopefully, the diversion - tied with the Grass Knot tying the Lairon up - would keep Titan immobile long enough to be hit by the Volt Tackle, taking them both out. The Pichu hated cliche's like that, but it was his only option, so he'd have to stomache it.

((OOC: Well, this is it, either way. I could get annoyed at you that in-battle Titan is, like, ten times smarter than normally, which doesn't make sense, but I suppose he just doesn't fall for the same trick twice (?).

And in my defense, Double Team in Japan is "Shadow Clone", so that's why a clone can be totally seperate from Jinchin and works in a Naruto-esque way.))

Swearing once more, the electrically charged Pichu knew he had lost. Already feeling the harsh electricity around him burning his fur, the pokemon decided on one more act of defiance - and then decided against it. This battle had been childish; getting angered by his loss would be stuping to their level.

Pittering out, the now-burnt mouse pokemon surrendered the battle. "Good job," he added cryptically. "Much better than I expected."

((Random OOC: I just found the best move for Jinchin; Callus Armor. It's not TM, so . . . ))

Defiantly, the weakened pokemon picked himself up. "I've had worse," he replied gruffly, memories swarming around his eyes. This is nothing. Limping back to the clearing where the rest of the party was, the Pichu slowly lowered himself onto a nearby log for support.

Ignoring Akio for a moment, the Pichu grimaced at Titan. "'All hope lost'?" he asked mockingly. "You're too stupid to even get what my so-called 'problem' is. 'Hope lost'?" he muttered again, to himself. I got over the emo stage quite a while ago. I have plenty of hope, but I'm not idiotic enough to go and show it off to strangers and fools.

Nodding towards Akio, now, he replied: "I have no where else to go, and I might as well have some guards in times like these." Obviously still in an upidish additude, the Pichu also added, to the rest of the group, "And I'd prefer if you didn't call me by nick unless you absolutely need to get my attention. Call me what you want, but an 'earthquake' I am not."
