Akio was stunned, as was Hermes. They were told to run, but they didn't want to leave Shade here to suffer. To get him out of the Shadow stage, they would have to make him faint. They were reluctant to do so, but Akio conjured up a DancingLight. He manipulated the light to go into the whirwind of Sonic Wind Hermes was creating. Hermes launched the glowing cyclone, firing it at Shade. "Sorry!" Hermes shouted.

((OOC: You guys are a bit impatient, huh? :P))

The watching Pichu - still following the group - had to admit these turn of events were startling. Although the Sableye didn't actually look that different, the party's reaction was enough to prove something was wrong - horribly wrong. The watcher's mind, strangly fuzzy, couldn't ignore the fact that the pokemon in its sight were in danger - perhaps the hiding in the shadows tactic should be stopped in an attempt to help . . . Yes, he should do that. Thinking as clearly ads he could, the Pichu commanded - Volt Tackle!

Illuminating the surroundings in a sudden blast of light and electricity, the Pichu didn't notice the danger it was throwing itself into, a cyclone already targeted at the Sableye. Indeed, it easily could have killed itself lauching onto the Shadow pokemon, for in its weakened after-state, he would have forcefully intercepted the other attack. But the Pichu was lucky - for, running at the Sableye, it was clear enbough for all observers to see he wasn't looking directly at the target, but, rather, a few paces to the left. In the Pichu's befuddled brain, he couldn't understand how he had missed, and as his charge - both physical and electrical - fizzled out, he collapsed off to the side, having caused nothing more than a mere distraction.

((OOC: So, in his Confused state, he missed Sableye entirely with Volt Tackle, and is now in clear sight for all to see.))

The scream and the static discharge of the volt tackle was more than enough to wake Titan. He noticed the the weakened pichu and the "possessed" sableye.

It's that same pichu who created that decoy, thought Titan. Why is he following us this far?

Soon enough, Shade shouted as he spun released a 2 shadowy rays (Shadow Rave) in a wild manner.

He ran over to the pichu and stood in front of him, blocking the blast from hitting pichu.

Hermes watched as Shade was hit with the glowing cyclone, and then saw the flash of light, made by a streakig beam of electricity. It dissappeared, and a Pichu was shown in it's place. Shade tried to hit the Pichu, but Titan blocked it. Hermes had a sudden bright idea, which he told Akio. Akio agreed and Hermes used Double Team. Three doppelgangers of Hermes appeared, and they followed Hermes and sorrounded Shade. Akio used Dancing Light and created three balls of light. He manipulated them into spinning around Shade. The four Hermes started to run in circles with Quick Attack, using Breeze to sail behind them. They created their own tornados, and the light balls spun faster and faster. Akio fired Quick Spells into the tornadoes. The Hermes stopped, and the tornadoes and light flew into Shade. He was enraged, and fired Shadow Waves in random directions, none of which hit Hermes or his doppelgangers. They taunted in unison. "Haha missed me, now you gotta kiss me!"

"...One... final... shot..." Shade stated. "Shadow Rave!" He created a purple ball in one hand. "Shadow Kindle!" He created a purple flame in the other hand. He combined the two energies, and fired a large fiery-shadow beam. After the attack was, he collapsed, as his color changed back to normal.

The Shadow Flame Beam hit everyone in the area, and was very strong. Hermes almost fell, but was held up by a pocket of air he had created. Akio stumbled, grabbing a tree to keep from falling. He called out. "Everyone alright?"

((OOC: Okay, is that how Shadow Pokemon work generally? De-power and regain normality? And talkf reely? Whether or not the first is true (I don't know for sure, as I'm not very familiar with Free Spirits), I know the second isn't. They can only say "Revenge," soble.

ANd greek freak, that cookie was excellent.

(OOC: My character tries to control his powers to have them never be released, or when when HE wants them to. This was approved by staff long ago. As for the talking, I personally think that since he is [to put it simply] half shadow, he can speak, but not much and in an evil tone. And I think the only thing other than REVENGE!!! he can say fluently is shadow attacks.)

"I'm ok," Titan called, "but I think we have more than one fainted pokemon on our hands." He showed Akio the pichu.

Akio stared at the Pichu, which had Volt Tackled, but missed. Spots of his yellow fur were orange, and his fur was steaming slightly from the heat of the Volt Tackle (because electricity is hot). Hermes could no longer hold the power on the air cushion, and fell. He had fainted, and Akio himself was feeling slightly dizzy. Akio took the message bag off of the unconcous Hermes, and searched the contents. A few pieces of paper, and occasional envelope, and there at the bottom were three green herbs. Revival Herbs. Akio took them out hurriedly, and force-fed the Pichu, Hermes, and Shade. They all flickered their eyelids, and got up.

Shade coughed as he woke up. "Why did you wake me up?" Shade seemed confused, "Is it morning already?"

Titan shook his head. "No... it happened again."

Akio was confused why Titan would say 'it' instead of just outright saying what had happened. Everybody had seen it, so why should he try to act like it never happened?

Hermes, meanwhile, was just waking up, muttering something along the lines of: "No, mom. I don't want to go to the Askorun Wastes. I'm not a Delibird..."

Shaking his ears unhappily - sending Berry Juice everywhere in the process - the Pichu muttured something to himself, obviously angry. Why did I do that? They didn't need my help, and now I look like a Confused fool. Of course, I was Confused. Stupid Berry. Stupid me. Stupid life.

The next morning, Shade, Titan, Akio, and Hermes set around the fire pit, eating delicious berries and treats Hermes brought while traveling. Meanwhile, pichu sat a few yards away, observing the happy group. Soon enough, Titan walked over to the Pichu.

"Well hey there, what are you doing out here?" He paused, noticing that his face wasn't changing, then starting to frown. "Why so sad? You should be happy. For Arceus's sake, your a pichu! The happiest pokemon ever. There is no need for you to be upset." He paused again. "...Unlike me, I have a reason to be sad."

Glaring up at the hulking pokemon, the Pichu stared maliciously. "Don't. You. Dare. Say. That."

The only reason the would-be stalker was still with the group was to watch the powerful Prankstar more closely, and the Malte had caught his attention. But Titan and Shade continued to be nothing but distractions, one an idiot and the other a fool. And a dangerous fool, at that.

"And don't you dare talk about your past in front of me, either. I'm sick of backstories, and I'm sick of you."

Titan got ticked. "HEY! I'm the one that protected you from a blast that could have KILLED you! Let's brawl right now!" He stomped his foot. "If I win, you must either get rid of that hateful attitude, or leave my sight. If you win, you can do whatever you want." He got into a battle stance. "Are you ready punk? Cause you are about to be squashed!"

Akio looked over at Titan and the Pichu. Titan was yelling, like how Akio had at him when he had accused Akio of turning two pokemon into Shadow Pokemon. He walked over, talking. "Titan, don't get mad," Akio said, turning to the Pichu, "And you. Don't be so rude. If you don't want to be hear, leave. Though if you care enough to take that challenge, I won't stop you. In fact, I'll be the referee." He said. He conjured up a chair of magic, sitting in it. "Go ahead." He said casually.

The Pichu mocked thinking for a few minutes. "No," he said firmly. "I will not waste my time on a fool wi - "

Stopping suddenly, the pokemon noticed the harsh glares the rest of the party was giving him. "Fine, then. But have it on record I find thinkgs like this pointless and childish." Nodding towards his opponent, he added; "Give mbest shot."

Titan started charging. "Head Smash!"

His body became surrounded in a bluish-white aura as he stampeded towards the Pichu.

The charging hulk of a pokemon would easily be unable to see such a small attack, with the plus of stopping Titan's charge. Just in case, though, Pichu agily jumped onto a nearby tree. "Not everything has to be flashy," the mouse pokemon muttered to himself.
