Shade got on Magmus, Akio mounted Egypt, and Jinchin got on Zeus. Titan managed to slide down the mountain on his own using Snowboard. As the group reached the bottom of the mountain, it imploded.

"Thank you so much for saving us," Shade responded, "but how did you know where we were?"

"You never said goodbye," Zeus replied, "and we wanted to thank you as well."

"Woa," Jinchin said, disembarking from his canine companion and looking quizzically at Shade and Akio, still finding the resent developments hard to believe. "So, did you guys forget to tell me you were siblings? 'Cuz now I feel even more out of it than before. Added, of course, to the fact that I'm the only one who isn't, like, 7 feet tall now."

"We didn't even know we were siblings, Jinchin." Akio said distastefully. Turning to the rest of the group, he asked. "Where's Balto?"

Akio stared at the crystal body, and shed a single tear. He waved his wand over the body, and the same energy that had came from the letter absorbed into the wand crystal, and settled. "Thank you..." He whispered to Balto.

Balto nodded. "May your travels bring you knowledge on life." He then turned away. "Let's run, my quarry-wolves!" Balto then dashed off into the sunset, with the other 5 dogs following behind.

"I shall," Shade replied, "and I know where we need to go to next."

Shades hand began to glow a deep purple. "Cargan Temple." Shade responded dreadfully, "maybe there I can find more answers about this dark being."

"In the desert?" the Pichu asked, puzzled. "The one filled with Ghosts and everything? Joy." Type advantage goes to both the spirits and the native terrestrial pokemon, he finished grimly. Still though, it makes sense - so much that I'm surprised Akio and Hermes had to ask about it. "And, if not there?" Jinchin asked. "Where do we go?" To the legendary Valley said to be a key point in all of Bombur and, thus, an obvious target for the enemy and the possible cause in nature's disturbances? he thought sarcastically. While he had no proof in the matter, it had always been his personal theory about everything happening, and he was about to voice his opinion when something more important happened. Said important thing? He thought better of it.

The group traveled to the desert for a few days, along a path. Hermes was still getting used to his new body, and stumbled and fell several times, impeding their progress. Eventually, the group reached a pair of two Pokemon, one yellow, one red. "Hello there." Akio said. "Who are you?"

The two pokemon seemed to be battling. It was an electivire and magmortar. They both then stopped, and turn around to the greeting. "Hey there," electivire waved. "We were in the middle of training. Would you like to join us?"

((OOC: Just posting to let you guys know I'm alive, though there's no point for me to post IC yet, is there?

Anyway, I just realised that Jinchin can learn Sweet Kiss. How I missed this before, I don't know, but him using it would be . . . interesting. o.O How many moves would that give him, though? *counts on fingers* Substitute, Grass Knot, Volt Tackle, Double Team, Wish, Sweet Kiss, and Magnet Rise, which is definately the Move Tutor move I want to have. That makes 7, right? >.< Ugh, headache.

Also, I promise to have the Pupitar submitted to the sign up by the end of the week, latest.))

"Sure!" Akio said, thinking that he could use some training. Hermes also appeared eager, and ran infront of Electivire. Electivire shocked Hermes quickly, and he fell. "I think I'll stay out of this one..." Hermes then muttered.

"I'm ready!" Shade said, "Titan, mind keeping Hermes some company?" Titan nodded and stood behind Hermes.

"Looks like we got a two-on-two match." Magmortar said with a smirk, "I'm getting fired up just thinking about it! Battle Pose!"

Magmortar screamed out. "Fire Blast!" Out of his cannon-like arms came a shot of fire, but it moved slugishly for some reason. Then Electivire also shouted. "Thunderbolt!" From the wiry appendages potruding from his back came two bolts of electricity. They joined into one, and wrapped around the slow-moving fire. It sped up amazingly, and hit Akio and Shade both, spanning out into a large 'X' upon contact. "What was that?" Akio shouted, at the same time casting a Power Hex. Both of the larger pokemon dodged easily, and chuckled. Suddenly, Akio got an idea. "Shade! Help me with one of your moves!"Akio then started to charge a Spirit Bomb.

"Huh?" Shade was unsure what to do. "Dark pulse!" Shade shot the energy towards the charging spirit bomb, but accidentally damaged Akio.

Feeling nervous, he acted on instinct and ran towards electivire with a shadow claw.

Akio almost toppled over backwards, and shot out the energy prematurely. It whirled around wildly, and suddenly exploded between Akio and Shade. Akio gritted his teeth, and shot out many Power Hexes. Magmortar and Electivire dodged, until just two were left. Each were then absorbed by the pair of the larger Pokemon, and suddenly shot out, embued with electricity and fire respectively. The electricity orb hit Akio, and the flame-empowered spell hit Shade. Akio tried wearily to get up, and succeeded. But with a smug shot from Magmortar, spiral flames started to spin around Akio and Shade, and small shots of electricty from Electivire crawled across the fire. The fire and electric attack slowly started to close in, and hit both Shade and Akio. They fell over, and Akio muttered. "You two win...."
