Balto was hit hard, and he fainted immediately. A small Gastly floated out of his head, and the shadow barriers fell. The Gastly floated out, and was shocked by Akio quickly. Magmas walked over to the newly-evolved Titan, and shot a flame at his frozen feet. Hermes then gave him a few Sitrus Berries. Akio walked over, and spoke. "Well. That......happened." He said hesitantly.

((OOC: I hope that light is the GuidingLight, right? Because otherwise, I'm confused. If you're trying to evolve Jinchin - whose my cfharacter, first off - that won't really help right now, would it? Otherwise, soble hinted that GuidingLight wouldn't work, either.))

"You mean this?" Titan asked as he flexed his newly developed arms. He then started to laugh. "I knew my plan would work out."

Soon after, Egypt, Shaggy, Zeus, and Balto got up with a dazzled look on their faces.

The previously possesed group apologized for their actions, and Magmas and Venti then joined back with them. The group of five continued towards Mt. Pinnacle, trekking up the Majestic Mountain. They eventually reached it, and entered a small cave.

The cave was covered in diamonds and gems as the group approached an elderly sableye meditating. "I knew you would come Akio, Shade." commented the elder sableye.

Akio looked at the Sableye strangely, and then saw that he was meditating in a large circle of emeralds...Akio remembered the letter, and knew this pokemon sent it. He asked, "Why did you send the message, and who are you?". The elderly Sableye nodded, and then answered. "I will tell you why I sent it soon enough. For your second question, I am Ohabner, of Light and Dark." As if to emphasis the last part, the crystals around him glowed strangely, then went pitch black before returning to their original green color. "If you would like to know why I sent it, you and Shade battle me. If you win, I tell you, if you lose, you leave." He then stood up, his eyes flashing with a mischevious glint.

Sableye Ohabner would like to battle!

"Let me start off with a trick of the diamond. PRISM SHIELD!!" His green arm gems glowed white as an orange crystal shield appeared around him. "Now all light attacks are useless."

"That leaves me wide open!! Shadow Claw!" Shade declared. He charged into Ohabner at a fast speed.

((I found a more powerful version of Quick Spell to use: Power Hex))

Akio grimaced when he was told that his Light attacks wouldn't work. He decided to use Quick Spell, but instead a small blue orb flew out of his wand. It swirled around Ohabner, and then hit him in his ruby chest. He puffed out a breath of air, but quickly regained his posture. He was hit by the Shadow Claw, but it didn't appear to hurt much. Akio kept on firing Power Hexes at Ohabner, fighting vicously.

He felt perplexed at the new move. "Impressive. But I doubt you'll escape the power I gave you. Shine Saber!" Shades green gems glowed again, this time yellow, as two spear like projections formed on his arms. He charged towards Akio with great force.

Akio briefly wondered what he meant by 'power I gave you' but was quickly brought back to his senses by a previously-shining sword of darkness slamming into him. He started firing off many more Power Hexes, and Shade stabbed him with Shadow Claws. He slowly weakened, only to fire off several Dark Pulses and Radiant Beams at them, having them twist together forming a beam of light and dark.

"Now, to show you true darkness." Ohabner started charging a dark pulse ball in one hand, and a shadow claw in the other. The he slamed the dark pulse into the shadow claw. "SHADOW RAY!!"

A ray of pure darkness emitted from both of his hands, knicking across everyone. A few crystals cracked, others busted altogether. He looked weakened by now, however, and Akio thought that they may just be able to take him down. He looked over to Shade, and nodded. Shade seemed to understand, and a Shadow Claw erupted from his hand. Akio slashed, and a Shine Saber popped out of his wand. Together they charged at Ohabner, weapons pointed. They crashed into him, and he shuddered. He was defeated. After Akio and Shade got up, they asked him again why he wanted them. "I will tell you now, to keep my promise. Well, I didn't tell you the full meaning of my name. It means Father of Light and Dark." He saw the sudden look on Akio's face, and completed what he was saying. "Yes, I am Shade's and Akio's father."

Ohabner stepped backwards "You may be asking yourself now: how is this possible, what else do I know, and why did I bring you here and not someplace else?" He then stopped. The projected a sphere that showed Ohabner, Shade, and Akio playing on a cliff edge. But they all seemed younger. "15 years ago. That's how long it has been since he came." In the image, the cliff crumbled as Ohabner gripped the edge of the cliff, Akio grabbing Ohabner's ankle, and Shade grabbing Akio's. "Shade, you were going to die an undeserved death." Young shade's gripped sliped and started falling. "But you were saved by a demon. Before young Shade fell any longer, a ghostly hand suddenly grabbed him. The image of the grabber looked like a shadow.

"If you wish for this young life to be spared," the shadow projected, "you will give him to me."

"I had no choice," Ohabner continued, "but to give Shade to the fiend." In the image, the shadow disappeared with Shade in hand. Younger Ohabner and Akio climbed back up the ledge, as they cried.

The image changed again. "Akio, you ran away because you realized life is painful. You never wanted to see me again because of my decision."

The image the disappeared, along with the sphere. "So long in fact that you have forgotten your own father.

((Best. Plot twist. Ever.))

Akio looked very shocked, and turned towards Shade. "Well that explains that." He said. Hermes, being very over-reactive, had passed out when everything was revealed. Suddenly, a splitting headache jumped to Akio, and an image of ShinE pulsed in his head. "The shadow.....it is the great evil I told about...." The projection said. Akio repeated this to Ohabner, Shade who was now revealed to be his brother, Titan, and Jinchin, as Hermes was still passed out.

"There is only one thing I do not know, however," Ohabner concluded, "why is this demon here? YOU MUST STOP HIM BEFORE IT'S TO LATE!!!" He started to shake. "Before... I go, Shade, I gave you a power long ago, along with the Shine Saber, that will help use your soul in battle. Be...strong." Ohabner then collapsed, as his body solidified into pure crystal.

"Oh....Ohabner?" Stuttered Akio, at a loss for words. Then there was a screech behind him. He turned around and was face to face with a large purple Aerodactyl. It's ribs were showing, as if it had not eaten for monthes. Akio slashed, and started stabbing with Shine Saber wildly. Then, the skin slowly slid off, leaving just floating bones in it's place. The bones had been re-animated by dark magic! The bones started rattling, biting, attacking.

Jinchin, who had once again taken a back seat from the battle - this time scouring off for some Berries - poked his head back into the cave, having just returned. Looking wildly around at first the elderly Sableye and then at the magically charged skeleton, he had, once again, a strong urge to just leave. But no, this would be too good to pass up. Sidling into the cave quietly, he quickly created doppelgangers of himself with Double Team, all of which tackled an individual bone and held it down, immobilizing them all nearly simultaneously. "What would you guys do without me?" he asked cheerfully, then, nodding pointedly, he asked, "And who's the old dude?"

"Oh, nobody, just me and Shade's recently deceased father!" Akio said sarcastically. Hermes had woken up, and was sending gust after gust at the skeleton. Then another screech sounded, and two more reanimated skeletons of Aerodactyl and three Ptery's appeared. They overthrew Jinchin and his doppelgangers easily, and flew to the top of the mountain, preparing to attack the summit. Hermes jumped out of the cave, and floated up towards the top on a cloud. When he reached the top, he shot wind at the skeletons. They didn't stop trying to dissassemble the mountain, until one's wing cracked. They all turned towards Hermes, and started attacking. Then suddenly a tornado appeared, wiping out the skeletons, but harming nothing else. Akio raced to the top of the mountain, followed by all the others.

As soon as everyone reached the top, the aerodactyl released multiple dark beams, causing the tip to shake. Then, before the aerodactyls prepared another attack, a familiar voice was heard. "Defog!!" Venti, the Winnflow, launched a strong wind at the aerodactyls, causing them to fall and never come back up. The other wolves followed suit. "Get on our backs." Balto demanded, "this whole mountain is going to collapse!"

The group did as told, as the dust cleared. Then they saw Hermes. He looked much different. He was taller, wearing armor, and had wind gusting around his feet. He had evolved. "What are you guys looking at?" He then looked down at his own arms, his armor, and realized. Then, the mountain tipped, and he got on Venti.
