I know that Prof. Idaho is on important business.... but where is he gone? When did he leave? Was he ever here to begin with on the site or....? So many questions that I would like to have answered! D:

That's because Schimre IS Idaho. When he left the boards they had to do something about Idaho since no one wanted to be him. I assume that Miravistel wanted the part but didn't want to specifically be Idaho for whatever reason, so she made an "assistant" of Aaron and it all went well from then. At least, that's my version, which I think is pretty accurate.

I don't know. Same reason why all of the other Staff members left? Which may include:

Having no time to get onto the board because of events happening in real life or something similar.
Grew uninterested in Pokemon, or at least creating fake ones.
Their job as a Staff member was too frustrating so they had to quit.
They died. Highly unlikely.

Actually, I believe Aaron was designated as the Gym leader before Schmire left. I myself am not certain about the reason, though, since that was decided before I became staff.

This is incorrect. I knew that Schimre is Idaho, he created the RPG and Mira makes that mistake in his topic. Schimre has made the story, and it has always had Idaho absent.

Oh, you can't correct it. ^^; You just told him he can't control Idaho, then someone (I think Pory) explained Schimre IS Idaho. My bad, I gave the wrong idea there.

I think it is named after a plant, specifically a vegetable: the Idaho Potato.

That was actually my mistake. I didn't remember that Niklix (I'm sorry I can't remember the spelling) was Schmire. That event sure had me embarrassed.

Aaron starting off trainers has always been the story, and this was Bonzai's idea I believe. From what I can remember, Schmire left the board before the RPG ever took place. I don't recall seeing any posts made by Schmire behind-the-scenes, so that is what I'm basing that assumption off of.

When Niklix started his RPG he actually went against Prof. Idaho instead. You should check it out.

Ech, my bad! I just confused it since Mira plays Aaron now, and would be checking it... Sorry Mira, totally my fault!

Actually, Prof. Idaho was originally intended to be the first Leader, using low-level Bug-types instead of Flying-types (Ledyba would be involved either way, I believe.) He was also going to be the last Leader...but that's another story. Then Schimre had to take a hiatus for a reason I no longer recall, and Bonzai (who had already taken over the eighth Leader slot) also took over the first, creating the character Aaron. Bonzai controlled Aaron at least as far as Thieth's attack on Bastion City, which was quite the event. Miravistel took over Aaron sometime after that, when Bonzai's college coursework became too much to allow him to continue being Head RPG Host.

And Squirrelay, Schimre did appear in that one behind-the-scenes topic. He made his appearance by dismissing a polymorph effect that had him disguised as a tree.
