Does the PF have any Pokemon which could be considered psedolegendaries? Not that it really matters, I was just wondering

Go to the National Dex, and look for Tyrannitar, now look for the line that looks like a ghostly dragon. 'Nuff said. Also, I submitted a line of psuedolegendaries myself.

Good question, offthehook! We have a couple of those indeed ^-^ #FA146-8 Spectander, Drakhoul and Fiendrake; #FA170-2 Thorvil, Molovil and Horrivil; #FA190-2 Snerpent, Frostagon and Midice to name some examples. I still have an interesting line lingering somewhere on the board as well ^-^

Not really; they're not like the likes of the Dratini, Larvitar, etc. families. The Electageko line works more like the Aron and Trapinch lines ^-^

Not everything big and powerful-ooking is a pseudolegendary. Although exploud looks like it could topple buildings with it's roar, its base stats only equal 480, not even close to pseudolegendary standards. So I don't think Electagecko really counts in this situation. But I don't know.

Wattsalisk is pretty powerful, but doesn't quite match up. I have to say though that I do love our Pseudo-legendary lines. The Spectander and Thorvil lines are epic.

I think Upsidaze is more in the Trapinch category, or possibly even lower than that. Starsper, however, could be a beast with its great typing, wide movelist, and the high level it evolves at. That could definitely be a pseudolegend IMO.

Yeah, ZeldaFan is right: the Upsidaze line is not in that category, and probably lower than the Trapinch line as well.

As for the Starsper line, you bring up an excellent point, Jigglyclops. I'm personally leaning towards ZeldaFan's thoughts here: I definitely wouldn't mind if that line was pseudolegendary ^-^

Starsper... I think Starsper is like Metagross. The pseudo-legend that's just a bit... off.
Actually, I consider none of our Pseudo-legends mentioned in this topic actual pseudos, but that's just cus I'm a stickler for the 4* weakness rule. :P Metagross doesn't count in my opinion.

Also, this has bothered me for quite some time - why isn't the Morrovil line part Dark?

Because I don't like the Dragon/Dark or Dark/Dragon combo. I see the Dragon-type as being about dreams and hope (and not about being lizards), like Bagon wanting to fly and Thorvil wanting to become strong. Dark would make that evil intentions/hopes, something that I don't like. Thorvil in particular doesn't have such intentions; it just wants to grow big and strong. Even Horrivil, despite attacking everything it sees, doesn't do so because it's evil; it just wants to test its strength.
Of course, that's just my own personal dislike of the Dragon/Dark combo, but that was my underlying reason for suggesting them as a pure Dragon-type line (which, by itself, is a great thing to have as well) ^-^

I know Pure Dragon is a great type, trust me. :P Okay, I can get that. Also, you suggested them?! Great job there then. They're some of my faves. And they are based on the thorny devil or whatever it's called, right?

Pseudo-legendaries "requirements" for classification can be found here: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pseudo-legendary this is what's generally accepted by Pokemon fans as pseudo-legendary. We need to know their stats and all pseudo-legendaries evolve at level 45 or higher. Also of note is that they always have a single resistance to one type. Ie: The flying or levitating pseudo-legendary pokemon cannot be hit by ground, Garchomp can't be hit by electric, Metagross is resilient to poisoning, and Tyranitar cannot be hurt by Psychic types. All pseudo-legendaries also know shadow rush in the shadow chamber. All pseudo-legendaries have atk as their highest base stat. Also note their base stats must equal 600. It would be cool to have PF pseudo-legendaries though.

Oh cool! I´m all for making Starsper a pseudo too.
Also there are no pseudolegendaries that have two possible evolutions, it would be a totally original concept and possibly make fans flip. And I love seeing fans flipping. =P
