I've decided to upgrade to a PSP or PS3. But what should I get and what do I do with my PS2?

I say:
Get the PSP, keep the PS2. The PS2 can play games from the original Playstation, and the Playstation 2, which gives it a range of games from 1999-2008. The PSP has more modern games, and you can take it around with you. The PS3 can play the newest games, and play BluRays, but that's all it does. If you enjoy gaming by yourself with lots of variety, and on the go, go with my suggestion. Also, I'm not a big fan of you after you posted the Religion topic, which had actually made me think you a spambot at first. Please, it's good to be opinionated, but don't EVER go as far as something like the relgion topic again. Please.

...how at all was he being opinionated? He simply was passing the time with a topic. And even though this is the interwebs, it's a forum, which means people will take offense if you say "you aren't a fan of them." Why was that mentioned in this topic? You could have asked him in private.
Anyways, I have never owned a PS3, but I concur with the above analysis. Also, there are two definite reasons for a PSP - Dissidia and Birth by Sleep.

It really would be nice if you could stop being an opinionated jerk though. It's not going to happen over night, but there's nothing wrong with attempting a little character building...
Also I can't really say anything about what this topic is really about sorry, since I've never had a Playstation of any kind.

I'll just watch my big mouth. Also, I'd like to say that if anything, get an XBOX 360! It's the best choice, with lots of awesome games, great Live capability, and etc. The only is that it's expensive if you want to get the most out of it (ie; Gold membership, which is required for multiplayer, is 70$ a month).

If you're going to upgrade, I say you should buy the PS3. Is the PS3 backwards compatible with the PS2? If so, sell the PS2. Otherwise, keep it.
