That new Tesmitta looks fantastic. Some really smart ideas in that design. As for Tesray, I really do think it may need to be redesigned a bit. The others I really like because they're animals wearing some Tesla-tech on them, while the original Tesray has a significant cyborg look going that I don't think meshes with the newer designs that well. The thing about Tesray is that there was never an actual picture of Tesla's teleforce projector, so it can basically look like whatever it needs to look like in the design. However, I do think there needs to be an apparent weapon, which is one thing I really liked about FoW's Tesray, the tailcannon gave a much more weapon-ish feel than the odd giraffe head of Alex's initial Tesray.

I am sorry to be a pain Alex, just that looking at Tescoil, Tesmitta and Tesray next to each other there's this really glaring difference between them. Tescoil and Tesmitta work because they have simple and minimal technology, whilst Tesray just looks... crowded and awkward.

Oh, there's plenty of depictions of the teleforce, but I don't think there were ever released images or schematics by Tesla himself, I mean. Many people assume a dome-like structure but that's not necessarily the case, given some of the component descriptions that require long cylinders and the like.

As for the earthquake machine, you're completely right, I forgot about that one entirely. That could definitely be an interesting branch. I'd make it Electric/Ground though, given that the earlier evolutions are Electric. Could end up being that Tesray is the Special Attack evolution whilst "Tesquaker" is the Physical Attack evolution. Though I like the idea of the ranged one also being a physical attacker, given that the teleforce is essentially a dispersed high-speed physical attack.

Then you end up with two Physical heads of the Tesla family, which just seems boring to me. If you're wanting to use Earthquake and Magnitude or whatever, then Choice Band + Attack EVs + Adamant Nature. I'd even go as far as adding in Hustle as an ability, but Arena Trap seems pretty perfect to me as the second ability, and nicely mirrors Sniper.
