Fun fact: In the zombie survival guide, the disease is called Solanum that causes people to reanimate and it does not reanimate animals, only kills them.
Boy that wasn't very fun.

Definitely counterparts. Although, instead of the alternate evolution being all evil and stuff (Pandough), it is good and pure (Kamakure). Which is just fine.
