Thanks! Yeah the evo being a moth was just water under the bridge for me as long as the other one was solved. And by the way in PF we have Sectice, Lunamoth, Waspoon and Geomezure who went under that method and Transquito, Pyrefly and coming soon Mouchectric who had it forced into them. Hmmm... *hides Wheatvil* I probably forgot some like Tutnkmoth and kin who still aren´t in, but you get the point.

So when it evolves would it loose it's wind type and become part flying? And while looking into it's wikipedia page, I happily found that it doesn't have a cocoon, meaning that it would make perfect sense that it wouldn't have that stage.

As for your examples Jigglyclops, I think that's kind of messed up. I get what you mean, but I don't get the point and how it relates to this.

For its abilities, I think that they should have the posibility of Unburden given their gliding nature.

Maybe. We could also possibly do a third form of the Armor abilities and do like Cushioning or soemthing.

How about this SOFT BODY

Recoil is reduced by 50%. Attacks that cause this Pokémon

to flinch only have half the chance of doing so. This does not

apply to Focus Punch or any attack that will guarantee flinching.

Cushioning reduces the force of impact.

Isn't that kind of OP? That means that DynamicPunch is the only move unaffected by this ability because these Pokemon don't have arms and thus can't learn Focus Punch, and DynamicPunch is the only move with garunteed flinch. I think we should make it a variation of either Battle Armor & Shell Armor or Solid Rock & Filter.

How is that OP? Flinch is not that good a status anyways, as they go, since it's not a status. and 50% recoil isn't OP either.

Maybe we should go with Jetera (JET + pTERA)? BTW I recommend just plain old Rock Head for the grub and Speed Boost for the snakefly/

Rock Head wouldn't work because it doesn't have a hard head, it's entire body is soft to absorb impact.

What the...? DynamicPunch guarantees instant confusion if it hits, not flinch.

Oh right. *facepalm* Okay fine, only those three mentioned moves are unaffected. And they have restrictions (Attacker's first move for Fake Out, forcing to give up a valuable evolution item for the other two). There's no ability that guarantees flinching. Pitiful only has a chance. For the recoil thing, I never said it was OP. On the evolution note, I like Jetera & Speed Boost. But as I said before I think we need to wrap up Grudive first.

Perfecting the Snakefly-based evo (and let's put the Mexican Jumping Bean business behind us, let's remember it wasn't Mexican Mushrooms, and be thankful), remember this is a work in progress and I'll need a little help to get the abilities, moveset, and Dexes (which are my weak spot) in. Thank you!:

Name: Boeptera (BOEing X-51+Ptera (Greek for wing))
Type: Bug/Flying
Pokedex Classification: Hyperjet Pokemon
Description: Boeptera looks similar to its prevo, to an extent, only sharing the shape of the torso. It's body is elongated, and its tail has a stinger on the end, with spikes around it. The flaps of skin to let it glide have stretched into jet-like wings, and its arms have become Mothim-like arms (albeit longer) that are fused to its wings. Its color scheme, head design, and the spikes around its tail mimic a Boeing X-51, and the other part of its design is inspired heavily by a snakefly. His eyes are located where the X-51's cockpit would be.
Abilities: Spin Wind (Causes a Tornado to form on the field)/Speed Boost
Pokedex Info: The ultimate realization of GRUDIVE'S desire to fly, this Pokemon has been shown to break the speed of sound. (page 1) This Pokemon's speed causes massive shockwaves that can destroy most buildings. They can travel the world in mere seconds. (page 2)

I believe it's going to be Bug/Flying because it flies with its wings and not gliding, and it never ha dskin-flaps thta let it glide or arms. And you're dyaign thta it evolves form Grudive when it's Speed stat is 170? We don't know it's stats yet. I was thyinking maybe level up when knowing Tailwind or at Feather Cliff or soemhting liek that...
