That's actually quite a good idea. Katanohana? I feel that could maybe work. Also, I for one apologize about the rejecting every name - I am sorry, but none of them quite clicked.

Other options: Konoharoot, Kohanaroot.

AHKONOTANACHOO! Whoa I think that one Konotanaus virus just got me. Hey! What do you know!? I think tomorrow I´ll travel to Konotana, maybe I´ll bring some Konotanas back home... Mary had a little Konotana. Did I already say Konotana?

We also got pokémon with just a single already existing word like Golem and Electrode. And then we´ve got... Mr. Mime and Mime Jr.
I´m not saying they´re bad but Katanaroot could use a more original name, come to think of it they decided to go with more original names when they decided to rename:
Aria - Clefairy
Lucky - Chansey
Nessie - Lapras
Meduza - Tangela (come to think of it I liked the first name but "Tangela" is just superb.)
Sandstorm- Sandslash
NY - Koffing
LA - Weezing

That name is acceptable but IMO we should go for it just in case everything else fails... which sadly, will be very soon, I foresee.

All of those are the Japanese names - using English as a Japanese name is perfectly acceptable.
