unless the evolved form was a hydra (which is also what I'm hoping the top form of the fifth generation starter will be), I don't see how it could work.

I thought you meant that you hoped that the top starter would be hydra, implying that you hadn't seen them yet.

We already have a hydra, to find out who just spell it backwards or check the Nat'l Dex near Arbok.

I think that the level it learns Headbutt at and the level it learns Wrap at should be switched, as Wrap is a really weak move, and Headbutt is pretty decent.
