"Yeah and he got me real bad with a poison sting to the leg. He's a fiesty one this guy. His name is Afro knight, Prince of Plants, but you can call him any short form of that you like." Carlos looked at Afro knight, "This is Dylan, he's my friend I've been chilling with tonight. Remember he's a friend." The plant bowed. "Now I think we've had a long enough night. We should probably get some sleep." Carlos noticed knight had already rooted himself in the ground for the night with mega and cool dude sleeping close by. "I'd like to wake up pretty early. I want to train prince of plants tomorow and get out of this forrest and out onto to the bombers plains which I hear are quite specacular. Speaking of which, I think we should travel together. I think we'd make a great team the two of us. What do ya say?"

"Alrighty then. Now that that's settled we can finally get some sleep. If you wake up early, make sure to wake me up. I'd like to get in some training as early as I can. Plus I figure we should probably be out of this forrest before dark tomorow so we have a lot ahead of us for the day. Good night Dylan!"

Carlos burst out of his tent in his blue pj's. "Alright! let's do this! I mean uhh, yeah man lets get this show on the road, yeah," said Carlos, "Hey guys, wake up! We've got trainin to do!" Afro popped out of the ground almost immediately. He looked at the other two of Carlos' pokemon, who were taking a longer time of waking up. He gave them both a quick smack with his leaf hands, amking them jump and squabble. "Alright, you two keep by my side when we go into the bush," Carlos said as he got on his sweater and packed up his tent, "I want to train up knight to be at the same level as you guys. He'll make a fine warrior!" Afro stood up tall and strong while the other two pokemon sighed. "While we train we should probably start to get out of this forest. This map says that theres a small creek that leads most of the way through the rest of the woods and out into a pond on the edge of the plains that make up route B. I think thats probably our best landmark. I get lost easy, i mean I ummm want some water pokemon, so that knight doesn't have a hard time I mean so he can have ummm, easier targets. We'll do some poison sting target practise maybe. Or something. Oh man it's too early. What is it like, 8 o' clock in the morning?" asked Carlos. "Let's head out on the road!" With that he treked out into the forrest, not waiting for poor Dylan to catch up.

(OOC: I thought maybe it would be neat if I found my rival at the pond near the end of the forest and maybe if one of us PMed a staff to play one of the evil teams right before we entered bastion. Would that be cool with you?)

"What a cute stream," said Carlos. "C'mon knight let's find something." Dylan came up from behind them. "Shhhhhhhhh... were looking for pokemon. " He took a small stone and threw it across the water. A few ripples went across the creek. Splash! A lotad popped out of the water, startled by the stone. "Go princey! Use absorb!" Afro jumped on the lotads lily and began to suck the energy from his top. The lotad threw him off onto the bank of the stream. He leaped out of the water at knight with an astonish, sending him back into the water. He clambered a shore after the lotad. "Use sweet scent!" Afros flowers opened wide before releasing a soft pink mist into the air at the lotad. The lotad, befuddled by this fresh scent started to wander closer and closer to Afro. "poison sting! Now!" Knight stuck out his two leaves at the lotad and shot two poison thorns at the plant pokemon. He began to weaken until he flopped over, back into the water. "Good job my man!" said Carlos as he gave afro a high five. Carlos turned to Dylan. "So we just keep going this direction and we should come to route B. Let's go!" Carlos began walking along the river bank. "So are you from Anchore or did you move here?" he asked Dylan.

Carlos yelled out at him, "If you get lost, just go to this stream and continue the way we were going! I'm going to continue on!" And so Carlos kept walking along this river. Cool dude was swimming along in the stream, Bird Girl was flying just overhead and Afro Knight was strutting along side Carlos. Just then Afro froze in his spot. "Whats wrong my little green man?" He looked to his side stealthily for a moment before jumping into the air and shooting a poison sting the opposite way. He hit an aipom out of a tree with extreme precision. He fell onto the forest floor below stunning the monkey pokemon for a moment. In a moment the aipom was back on his feet and swinging across branches with his tail hand towards Afro knight. Afro knight jumped at the swinging pokemon, latched himself on and sucked his energy with an absorb, making him faint. A few more aipoms crawled out of the trees around the water, staring at the three pokemon and their trainer. Cool dude, Afro Knight and Mega went back to back in a circle ready for a face off with the three-handed fiends. Cool dude shot a water gun out and hit one into the stream while Mega swooped over to go take care of two of the guys sitting on a different branch above Carlos' head. She gave them both a fury attack while Afro rooted himself in the ground. 2 more went after the plant pokemon. He deftly blocked each of the aipoms scratch attacks with his leaves taking a few hits but managing to keep them off well enough to release a sweet scent attack, which got right in their eyes. Knight grabbed them both with his leaf hands and squeezed the life force out of them with absorb. Meanwhile, Cool Dude jumped into the water with a tackle, landing right on the aipom, and spraying huge amounts of water everywhere. They began to wrestle around with scratching and growling before finally Cool sprayed the aipom out of the stream with a quick water gun blast. Mega-Death was having quite a time holding off the two aipoms in the tree above Carlos' head. Carlos had been watching the whole time, giving suggestions and trying to be helpful in this cayos , but it wasn't easy. Mega pecked at each of the Aipoms holding them off pretty well before Cool sent a blast of water that way, dousing one of the Aipoms and knocking them to the ground. Mega took the last one out with a quick blow to the head with his beak before the pokemon fell down to the ground and crashed into the understory. The three heroes gathered around Carlos, who was now as tired as they were. "Wow guys you really put up a good fight. Let's get you guys a few potions." He sprayed them all with a quick sprits from some potions he had handy in his bag. "I wonder where Dylan went off to?"

"Oh hey man. I just got jumped by a squad of Aipom! You wouldn't believe how many there were bro! They were like all over the place and like yeah man," explained Carlos. "Oh that's a neat little pokemon," he said as he gave the little guy a pet. "But sticky. Eugh." "Whats his name?"

(OOC: I'm going to see if Miravistel can be the HM keeper for cut for us so you may want to wait for him to post, or not. Whatever you'd like, but we need to get that HM before we get out of the woods.)

"Well, we don't want to get lost in this place," said Carlos "but I've heard a rumor a lot like that one." "We can If you really want to."

So they wandered a bit through the forest climbing over rocks and roots. Carlos was a bit worried that they'd get lost but they trekked on. A small brown animal scuttled through a mess of roots. "Hey look a Sparret!" said Carlos "Get him Afro! Throw a poison sting!" Afro jumped at attention. The little Sparret looked at the Nytshayd with curiosity. Knight shot him once witha poison sting to see what he would do. The weasel pokemon reacted immediately and sprang at Knight with a quick attack to the face. He mauled Afro as he shook around, jumping everywhere. "Use absorb!" commanded Carlos. Knight stopped for a moment and started giving his opponent an enormous hug. His bewildered enemy quickly got the energy sucked out of him and passed out on the forest floor. "Nice job prince!" said Carlos.

"wait you're not planning to hit up the gym yourself?" asked Carlos. "Well alright then lets do this!" Go Prince!" The tiny bush Pokemon jumped from behind his back and did a crazy kung-fu fighting pose. "Come at me bro!" Carlos exclaimed. "I am asuming that what you meant is that we battle right? That was it right?"

Just then a bizarre sound started coming from Carlos' pocket.
"Goodbye Cherubi Tuesday, who could put a nickname on... *CLICK*" Carlos whipped his cell phone out of his pocket. "Hello? Oh hey Seabass. Yes I am. No. Well alright fine. Well then let's do it! Sure yeah whatever. Well what!? Did you really think... well fine that's a good point but. Well come on man it's not like... alright I'll meet you they're that's where we're headed anyways. No not my mom, this artsy guy named Dylan. What you know him? No, dude thats a different Dylan. Yes I'm sure. That Dylan has a goatee. Yes. No. Yeah he's a pretty cool guy. I bet you don't even have one! Not like I've heard that one before. Well no but you know. Alright then I'll see you there. Bye."

By this point Afro was now sitting down next to a tree, Bird Girl was catching bugs in the grass and Cool Dude was sleeping on a rock in the river. "Sorry about that. That was just this guy I know named Sebastian. He and I used to be alright friends but now you could almost call us rivals. We might be seeing him as we get out of this forest which I hope can happen. To my recollection from last time I went to Bastion there's a small motel we can stay at on route B just outside the forest we can stay at." Carlos paused before yelling "Prince! Get ready!" Suddenly Prince sprang strait to his feet ready to pounce. "Let's do this!"
