The Mini Noses aren't either. Probopass can easily remove them and have them do something, it's been shown in the anime, and I think it can be inferred form the Dexes, because they aren't separate units if they are a part of the main body.

I dont know, the mini-noses don't seem enough like a baby pokemon to me. They almost seem more like Santa's little helpers then a prevolution

Yeah almost like that except Delitot works much better due to the fact that it's adorable. I know gazuntyke is not that cute but its much cuter than the mini-noses

So you're basing the idea of the Pokemon based on how cute it is? That really doesn't matter unless cute is one of the main points of the Pokemon's existance (like Skitty)

The fact of the matter is that I think baby pokemon should look like babies or toddlers. Also I don't find it very creative to just use the idea of the mini-noses as a prevolution of nosepass.

I say blargh to long arguments!
I too agree to base it on the mini noses, but I also think we shouldn't copy the design exactly, that would be just too uncreative on our part.
An example I could think of is Exeggutor, the dexes say that the heads fall off and group into Exeggcute, but the Exeggcute themselves don't look exactly like Exeggutor heads. Maybe we could apply that here.

Another example: Kangaskid is based off the baby Kangaskhan in the mother's pouch, but it looks different because it's changed into a separate pokemon to evolve.

I don't think the Mini Nose should "transform{" into Gazupass (is that a good name?) but more like "grow" into it. It really doesn't matter, but I think it sounds better that way. They're both four letters so no other rewording would be at all necessary. Otherwise I like this a lot.

when they said it would take a long time they certainly weren't kidding! Not trying to sound impatient or anything. In unrelated news I've come out of hibernation from this site. Reading over this post it doesn't really sound right. Oh well.
