Stantler creatues hallucinations, it doesn't bend minds, and gasp... idea get! Maybe this evolves form Stantler? They both have antlers, and they look kinda similar. Maybe Stantler's hallucinations can evolve into this Pokemon's mind distortions?

Well, it would have to be a badass high level Pokemon, since it knocked me out for a day and a half with one move. Maybe it has a signature 1-hit K.O!

Either that was a signature OHKO or it was Mindkill. It's definitely a Psychic type though. With that kind of power, what else could it be?

If we are to go through with this idea, then it would be Normal/Psychic because it needs to share a type with Stantler.

Heh funny, I always thought Stantler would evolve to a moose. (Not here at PF though since we already got Gigathor, but apparently we also have two different species of orca so whatever.)
I support this, Stantler needs to get out of the little known spot it´s in.

Seems very strange that Stantler who's natural habitat is cold northern forests and such would evolve into a pokemon of the hot tropical savanna.

A shift of climate seems reason enough to evolve. I assume that it has to learn a certain move while affected by a certain weather or while in a certain climate....

Then that would mean either changing Breezelle's status as a Fawntler counterpart or having to give it another evo. :/ Personally I think this would work best as a pure Psychic standalone.

(Or, we could just make Fawntler evolve into Stantler and Breezelle evolve into this.)

I think the most sensible route would be to make this a Psychic Stantler evo and give Gazalle an evo as well, but a Stantler evo might be a bit too OPd. Maybe a competitive battler could chip in here?

I've never battled competitively either, that's why I'm asking someone who does to tell us if Stantler's stats are too good for an evo.
