I never liked the PF starters much before, they were always too... invertabratey. All Nintendo starters are vertabrates, and the PF starters have never rung true for me... Until I looked at Deku's "official" artworks! They really bring the Pokemon to life and do them justice.

Quoted for truth. Every artist has his own style. And even if Cacapulse comes closest to Ken's style, Cacapulse too has his a style of his own. And personally, I love all styles; Antarctros, Cacapulse, Culthulhu and Deckadecu are all great artists ^-^

Sorry for this late reply, but my eyes melt from the beautifully holy drawings that Pokemon Factory has. If you know what I mean, by holy, its shining power is so bright that my eye melt.

(Only one eye melts?.....is it a pleasant melting? Typically the sensation of one's eyeball being liquefied is painful. Or does the shining divine brilliance you perceive of the artwork soothe your pain?)

Decku, these are amazing. And your art style is not something you should doubt - it's quite beautiful, and overall I think is a bit more "solid" than Sugimori shading wise. It's much more dramatic. And taking into consideration the art of the Black and White legendaries, it is actually closer than ever to his new style. Bravo on a wonderful entrance into the staff and on your art. Myrath is amazing especially, and I know you took the Sukus line into special consideration with your RPG in mind.

(Yes it is, I die happy of seeing such a glorious drawing. And if you could have read, I first had it in plural when I wrote it for the first time. Figure out what those pronouns stand for, for yourself.)
