Perhaps my Rhinooze idea could evolve from Taperia when it has the Pokerus? That would make it rare, plus that plays off of my earlier statement of "different bacteria".

Current Suggestions:

Spikrist-->Krestile-->Sovereign

Ungrie-->Starven-->Gluddin

Clawtch-->Graspisces-->Neptalon (Comm. Works)

@flars: Nice idea, but I think we'll just stick with the level evo. Pokerus is a bit rare :P Also, the first form is currently named Taperia.

@everyone: Pachyslyme or Viruderm?

That's exactly why I used Polinomial as an example. Just because PokeRus is rare doesn't mesna thta we can't use it. Plus Rahjet just totally ignored me and proposed the same method.

I think Pokerus is used as the evolution for Polynomial because it's mutated beyond what a pokemon should be. You'll notice Polynomial looks to be in pain, for example. I think Pokerus should only be used as an evolution method if the resulting pokemon is similarly mutated (not way too many limbs, per say, but definitely not a natural progression from the original pokemon).

Okay, well if someone wants to make some alt evo that is a total mutant freak that evolves via the Pokerus, put it here, and see what people reckon, go for it. Personally I think it's already fine as it is.

I really don't want a Pokerus evolution, Pokerus is EXTREMELY rare, and that would mildly suck having to raise one in an actual game.

Fine, I see the point about the Pokerus method. QUESTION, everyone: Should I just drop the Rhinooze idea? If that's for the best, it doesn't need to have another evo, I guess.

They could learn Toxic by level up. And Stomp, Food Posion, Headbutt, and ome other moves.

Ooh, I got an idea! How about making it learn GRAPPLE when it evolves to Pachyslime(lv 38)?

So is Grapple a brand new move?

And I looked up Food Poison, I'm thinking maybe it should be made to include eating berries as well?

And I think Gunk Shot is a definite potential move

I believe Gunk Shot is an almost definite candidate here.

I would like Taperia to have some unique post-evolution-level attack though. Maybe.

If you want some unique moves for Taperia , we might hafta make something up... There aren't that many good moves for this poor guy... I'll check nintendo's official movelist to see if any are viable.

Wow, awesome... So many possibilities O_o

Sticky Mud and/or Tar Pit sound like cool unique moves, and they're appropriate to Taperia too. And go ahead and replace Astonigh, there's no point in it having both mudslap and astonish.

As for the other moves, well it's hard to choose from such a list! Really appreciate you compiling it Narfnra!
