Here just post what you've been doing on any main-stream game recently. Any new captured pokemon, if you beat a Team Galactic Commander, a Gym Leader, one of the Eltie Four, or the Champion (and Frontier Brains in Emerald and Platinum).

On Platinm I just caught a Drifloon and a Buneary. Nicknamed the Drifloon 'Signpirit' and Buneary 'Earabit'. I'm going through Eterna Forest with Cheryl (and her epicly annoying Chansey). I also beat Mars recently. Her Purugly can not beat any pokemon with Bide, I tell you!

I EV trained a Flygon. It was fun. The breeding took a while, though not as long as it might have since EVs don't bother me.

I found like 10 rare pokemon in Quartz.

...no, I'm not going to explain what that is unless somebody asks. :P I've also been doing the pokeathlon in SS, I finally beat the Pennant Capture record a few days ago and now I'm just trying to earn trophies. Side Note: in the Supreme Cup, sometimes you see special participants, I've seen Jasmine in the Stamina Cup, and Maylene and that guy Primo from the Violet Pokemon Center who tries to give you his autograph, both in the Power Cup. Also seen Falkner in Jump Cup and Whitney in Speed Cup.

I reset my Platinum. I just caught a Shinx and it SUCKS. I keep trying to train it, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to train.

Meanwhile over on Crystal (yes, I have that game, tyvm (thank you very much)), I can't beat the first Gym leader, because it can beat my Chikorita, [pk]Starstorm, and it knows Mud-slap, which can beat my Onix. My Hoppip...don't ask about my Hoppip. It sucks, leave it at that.

Nothigng to do on my games anymore. The only thing I can really do anymore is train my HeartGold Pokemon to try and beat Red and evolve my Pokemon which I haven't yet on Platinum & the aforementioned HG.

@Flarsable: I think he's referring to the Mother ability PK Starstorm. Was that only in Earthbound? I can't remember.

This weekend, I raised a Machamp, Golem, and Poliwrath to level fifty for use in the battle tower. It was mildly annoying cause I was playing HG, but I haven't beaten the elite four in my other game yet.

Still trying to raise my Pajackok, Galilahi, Quidel, Yas, Lokni & Wikwaya so I can beat E4 rematch without trading for outside help or using medicine. So far got to Bruno nearly every time, but usually have only one or two left at that point. Levels are 61-64'ish at the moment, AKA not enough ;P

When life gives you lemons, you steal the sugar and put it on salt shakers.

Now that I have Quartz, I've noticed something really odd. You can't seem to catch anything. I don't know if I'm just really stupid or something, but my lvl. 10 Seegg will bring a lvl. 2 Sever down to almost no health, I use a Pokeball, and it won't even rock once. Am I doing something wrong? Also, I seem to have found a lvl. 2 legendary Pokemon. And a weird fairy-looking thing that kept using Hidden Power. I have no idea what I'm doing here...

I just battled a few triners with Cheryl in Eterna Forest, and there's one Bug Catcher who says "Awawawawawawawaw" or something like that when you beat him, and one Psychic says "Uuuurrrrrrrmmmmm.......Uuuuurrrhhrrrmmmmm". Apparently Eterna Forest-ians can't make proper words.

1. Bad luck. Also, levels make no difference.

2. Screenshot please so we can confirm if it's a legend.

3. That's Fairoot, it's rare. It's meh.

Well the Pokemon I thought was a legendary had the Drought ability, looked somewhat like a snakey Groudon, and was #199 in the Pokedex. I'd call that a legendary.
Edit: I found it again. And again. I even found a starter Pokemon in the wild. I took a screenshot of the so-called legendary and me fighting an evolved starter in the wild. Of course, I didn't have any Pokeballs yet...
EditZwei: I found a complete dex on Youtube, and it turns out the weird fairy thing I found is called Peeqzal or something like that.

I think you must have a damaged game(double patching?). Those don't live wild.

Incidentally, I'm going to say this now: Marble > Quartz. Seriously. Even if only half of it is done, Marble is way cooler. The pokes are actually majorly different.

Bwahaha, Peezgal is supposed to be the ultimate legendary - it's Rayquaza. And Kaosune is indeed a legend. I think you should repatch it, or get a different patch. YOu might also not have used a clean Ruby ROM.
