I sure do something interesting things when I have extra time in
school. This is the region I made, Futei. It's an odd region that is
not just a regular continental island in a sea, but instead just one
circular island, with four other circular islands floating above the
main one. Another difference of my region is that there is no evil team
trying to take over. Instead, there's a sinister force on the highest
island that has broken the connections of the other islands. Professor
Yew has asked if anyone on the lowest island, Daiyo, would like to help
reconnect the five islands of Futei. The four lower islands are each
represented by one of the key elements of life, namely Earth, Water,
Air, and Fire. The force that's oppressing the region has created large
gates across many routes, blocking all access on the road. It's also
taken over the temples of the lower four islands that used to be places
for the locals to connect with the wild Pokemon and travel between
islands. However, one with enough power may be able to break the hold
of the evil, and maybe even reclaim the temples. This power may be
connected to certain awarded symbols, according to a prophecy found
recently.
For those who wish to join Professor Yew in defeating the unknown force, just post this form with your information:
Name: You know, the thing people yell to get your attention.
Age: Since this is saving the world, I'm going to be a little more flexible with the age and allow 13-20 as the ages.
Gender: This isn't an optional choice. You better know how to answer this one, and if you don't, go see a doctor.
Appearance: Just whatever your person looks like. Keep it somewhat modest, however.
Pokemon: Following PF's example, you can choose either the official starters or a random Pokemon. If you want a PF starter, don't worry. There'll be a chance later to get one...
Mark Spot: Where you want your marks to be. Marks are kind of like Futei's badges, but instead of little pins, they're symbols that appear when you beat a Gym Leader. This is where they will appear, whether it be clothing, an item, or maybe somewhere on your character's body.
Background: This is the only optional one. This is just a little backstory as to why your person wants to help defeat the evil force.
The lowest island, Daiyo, is actually surrounded like water like most other regions. Because of this, it is the island represented by Earth, and the most populated. The first two gyms are located here, as well as the Elite 4. However, gates prevent access to most of the island. The first gym town and the temple's area are very rocky and mountainous, while the rest of the island is grassy plains. The island's capital rests in a low field that splits into three valleys, two of which are currently blocked by gates. This is also where you will begin your journey.

Okay, I know I'm a terrible artist, but this is the general idea of Daiyo. The red shapes are towns, except for the orange square, which is the Elite 4. The circles are regular towns, and the squares are gym towns. The gray rectangles are the gates, and the yellow triangle, somewhat reminiscent of another magical yellow triangle, is the temple. And for those who were unable to decipher the the instructions, you must have the gym badge from the gym that corresponds to the gate to open it.
Town with S: Kaishi Town- Where you will start your journey in Futei. It's the smallest town on Daiyo, only important because of the Professor's lab.
First City and Capital: Kadon City- When the force took over, Kadon went under a strict "quarantine" to prevent any further damage. You can get the Cut HM from a man here, but it isn't essential to the journey.
First Gym Town: Oshi Town- The Rock Gym Leader lives here. You will also get the Rock Smash HM, which is essential to enter the Earth Temple.
Second Gym Town: Koba Town- The Grass Gym Leader lives here. There is said to be a cave in which a rare Pokemon lives east of Koba, but vines have grown over the entire area, blocking access.
Temple: Earth Temple- The connecting point between Daiyo and Mizumi. However, a boulder has somehow appeared in front of the Temple, blocking access. People who have tried to move the large rock report strange noises coming from inside...

The second of the islands, the Island of Water, Mizumi, floats a few miles above Daiyo. The ever-flowing water of the Mizumin Sea flows over the edges of the floating island, giving good rain for the lush island below. There is only one land route on this island. The rest are sea routes, and are not usable until the Surf HM is obtained. Two more gyms are located here, and the capital of the island, Norimi City, has recently become quiet: most likely because people are hiding from the evil that plagues Futei.

Yay, another island!
Since there wasn't one before, I'll have to explain the new symbols here. The yellow X represents the spot where you appear after traveling through a temple. It's not a town, it's not a gym, it's just the place where you appear. The funny squiggly thing above it means that the route is inaccessible until you have something important, in this case the Surf HM. Another thing I didn't mention at first: all islands have a capital, except for the highest island, where most of the activity of the island is. It's really easy to tell which one's the capital, because it'll be the only one called a "city".
X: Appearance from the Earth Temple- This is where people would appear when they used the Earth Temple's teleporter. There is a golden triangle on the ground that can be used to return.
Capital: Norimi City- This city has become a bit of a ghost town because of the recent events. You will have to get the Surf HM here to progress at all.
Third Gym Town: Nami Town- The Water Gym Leader lives here. The non-required Dive HM is located here as well.
Requirement Route: Surf- All routes marked with blue are water routes, and as such you need Surf to pass through.
Fourth Gym Town: Aisa Town- The Ice Gym Leader lives here. An underwater cave north of here is said to contain a rare Pokemon, but the fact that it's underwater makes it unobtainable.
Temple: Water Temple- A large, ancient ruins that floats on Mizumi's seas, it has been blocked off by two of the Badge Gates. People who have tried to break through these have heard roaring and some sort of bursts coming from inside...
