Pokémon Factory Worker

It's not bad - definitely could use a more smooth color to it but otherwise seems well proportioned and drawn. I only have a bit of an issue with the way is torso seems to slope in. When the torso progressively gets thinner, and yet the back stays straight, it looks as if the character is sucking in his stomach. Try to make it so the back arches inward a little bit.

Yes, I lost my blender recently... and didn't know until after drawing this, so my coloring is ugly. I know what you mean by the back, and I sorta screwed up there. I've tried it before though. ^^; Thanks for the positive comments though. We are working on anatomy in Drawing and Design next, so I should have plenty of stuff to show you guys. Also, my flying tophat monocle whale will soon be here!

You already know about the torso, so I have no need to point that out. The tent-like peak of his hair bothers me, but...*looks at picture again* *restrains self from even mentally squeeing* Now, if you could draw that Trainer in a turtleneck...or rather, a turtleneck that does not have green edges...and gave him khaki-colored khakis, and made the Trainer bag look like a laptop case...

Also, nice smile. Charming smile...

THe trainer bag was supposed to be a laptop case. It's briefcase style because I feel it fits this guy more. Glad you enjoy the picture though.

.....it is a laptop case...? It cannot be a laptop case. The only cool laptop case in vaguely-cartoonish-looking existence is....well, that, and Rebecca (Destiny Deoxys), and Tonio's (Rise of Darkrai) laptop cases....wait, do they even carry around cases? I do not think they do. They seem to carry around their laptops, case-less.

Seeing the purported "laptop case" again, I realize the only object that could feasibly fit snugly is a doughnut carton, due to its rectangular shape.

But, "this guy" probably is different than his appearance would suggest. I might just be biased to the behavior of blond, bespectacled (be-turtlenecked) males.

Well, I wanted him to be somewhat classy, but laid-back, so the classic look of the case seemed to be good. And a laptop could easily fit in there snugly, as most laptop bags have a special compartment within just to hold the laptop. EDIT: I see what you mean. I made it too short. And Tonio does have a laptop case, it looks exactly like this one except with correct proportions.

(Sorry about my error. I did not see art of Tonio with a laptop case recently.) *looks at Tonio's laptop case* You are right----exactly like the one depicted, just with correct proportions. I would not know much about laptop cases, not having experience with them---besides, what use is having extra compartments in a laptop case made specifically for holding laptops? One could always wear a backpack, or even a tote bag (with the straps over their shoulders).

Extra pockets are convenient for people like me who have a lot of laptop accessories. My wacom intuos 4 board and the pen that goes with it, my charger, adapter, and it's convenient place to put my DS when I'm traveling. There's other crap in my laptop bag, I'm sure. Anyway, I can't exactly stick that stuff in my backpack. It's full. In fact, to be perfectly honest, we weighed my bag on the school scale, since I left a dent on the nurse's desk when I dropped it. It weighs a good 60 lbs. What's bad is when I bring my laptop to school, since the case and my bag weigh me down a good 75 lbs., and then my mom tells me to walk home. >_> I wear baggy jeans, black shirts, undershirts, sweaters, and boots. I live in Hawaii. Could you imagine if I had to carry all my stuff in my backpack? O.O

I just thank God I'm not in the school's band or anything involving carrying a heavy metal item home. =D

THIS IS ME. My bag has my laptop, my tablet, my books (school), my books (entertainment), my pencils, my DS, my phone, my chargers, etc. Although I live in the Bay Area, so the hot weather isn't an issue. My bag weighs about 45 pounds. Blegh. And then I travel to my dad's every other weekend and die.

Oh lord that's what happens to me too. I have a Macbook (which is both larger and heavier than most laptops), Charger, Hard Drive, another Hard Drive, Wacom tablet w/ pen, Huge Binders full of School material, Books, Textbook, my Mario hat, my Sonic hat, Magic Mouse, Wireless Keyboard, iPhone charger, iPhone, External Cooling fan, PSP, water bottle, blahblahblah. Sometimes I wonder why I carry all that stuff. AND the bus doesn't stop at my place, so I have to walk a loooong way just to get to the bus. I haven't weighed it but I'm sure it's pretty heavy.

Then I get back home and I die.

Where have I seen that hairstyle before?

Reminds me of this shady, redheaded boy (a spawn of the mighty Giovanni?).

My locker is in the nether regions of my school, so far away that I actually can't get to it between classes. We have four minutes between classes, so imagine how far away my locker is. So anyway, I have to keep EVERYTHING in my backpack. My books, my binders, my homework, my projects, my DS, my reading books, and well, anything else. It all weighs around 45 lbs., and actually kept breaking every backpack I tried, so I eventually had to get a backpack with a solid aluminum frame and military-grade material to hold it all. I'm not joking at all.

I carry a tote bag for a backpack, which has some colorful candy bar wrappers, a few pennies and nickels, random pieces of paper, a spare book in case I finish my other one and my lunch----no lunchbox, just a plastic bag. I carry around my binder also, which has many----perhaps thirty-seven---pieces of paper in it, (mostly doodles of imaginary creatures) and on top of that, a fantasy book.

So...more than Gelatop, but still carefree and lightweight.
