I was looking at the new vids from pokemon Sunday today and I stumbled upon, well... Some really amazing footage of Black and White - My prayers have been answered with these. Only things I'm not looking forward to is animating the future sprites. We can just go with dex shots as always though (for sure) even though it'd be pretty interesting to see animated PF sprites. Too much work. We're sorry! ^^ Anyway, I thought you'd all like to see.

Oh wow, animated sprites are amazing. Also, Hiun city is so much more... interactive now!

Also, your link for the third vid has the PF URL before the Youtube one. :P

Animated sprites are fun, but of course we'll not be doing them. Dex shots is what we do.

I agree with Decku that I'm happy they're going to spice up the battling ^-^ It was getting a bit boring as it was, game after game.

Amazing. Remarkable. I cannot believe what I am seeing. This is obviously going to be THE BEST GENERATION IN POKEMON HISTORY.

Wow. In the first video, did anyone else notice the fact that the camera changes!!! I thought that was awesome. When the little pig guy uses a Flamethrower, the camera shifts to center on the Grass starter to show him getting pummeled.

Because Mijumaru is the beginning stage of a freaking starter and the fact that it can learn a move like that - which causes CONFUSION, so it's kind of a big deal - that early is startling to me.

...it's level 50, and TMs aren't affected by level. Pokabu is using Flamethrower and Tsutaja is using Leaf Storm, which are both much better moves than Water Pulse because Confusion is gimmicky. Also, you know that Water Pulse isn't guaranteed confuse, yes? Also, at high levels the beginning stages learn better moves than the later ones.

It looks like they just cycle through an animation to me, not even changing when they do an attack. The camera movement is a nice touch. It's better than what we have now, but its not as good as I hoped.

I feel a little happier with a game and myself when game developers do what I think they should do (not that I'm right) and I'm really happy when they do better than what I think. Fully animated battles are long in coming and this is just a small step in that direction. Any improvement is welcome, but your right I am slightly disappointed because I have set my sights too high.
