Opal nodded happily. "Yes ma'am, I am. I'm here for my first Pokemon." She grinned and looked around the lab. It seemed smaller than most of the other regions, but still just as high-tech. "So do I just take one of those?" she asked, pointing to the machine behind Professor Palm.

The little Clarva looked up at its new master, clacking its tiny claws in happiness. Opal smiled and returned the Pokemon back. "I'll call her Clacky. Thanks a lot for the Pokemon, Professor Palm!" Opal turned from the Professor and walked out of the lab, ready to start her journey with her new partner.

Lucas, a brown haired boy, walked into the lab of Tena. A woman wearing a lab coat was there, and Lucas smiled widely. He stored the memory of the lab in his brain, with it's buzzing machines and still pokeballs. "Hello, I am here for my starting pokemon." He said.

"Oh, yes! Please!" the professor insisted, pressing the button on the machine and presenting the ejected Poke Ball to him. "Open it when you're ready, honey," she said, and dropped it into his palm (pun not intended).

Lucas was breathing heavy with excitement. He looked at the pokeball in his hands, which were starting to sweat. He tossed the small ball up, and it spun in the air. It started it's descent to the tiled floor, and hit it, spewing white light. The ball rolled away, leaving Lucas staring at the blinding light, waiting to take form.

It soon did, and when it did, it became some sort of lizard. It started stumbling around and Swaggering. Soon sensing it wans't fooling anyone, it stopped. It looked around the lab and saw Lucas. "Dizard?" it inquired.

Lucas gasped in amazement when he saw the small lizard pokemon. "Hey little guy." He cooed softly. He took the small pokemon into his arms, and was rubbing his scaly skin affectionately. The Dizard jumped out of Lucas' arms, and started spinning around in glee. "I think I'll call you Mesmer." He said light-heartedly. He took the small lizard back into his arms, stuffing Mesmer's pokeball into his pocket. "Thanks Prof. Palm!" He shouted, running out the door.
