Okay, well I'll take the honor of singing up first- because I especially love the idea of traversing an archepelago, it's most certainly going to be fun and it's never been dome before. I'm not counting Hoenn because it's one large island and a bunch of small ones. But first, are there any special requirements for signing up? Or is it the same as listed on the site?

The only thing different about signing up for L'Archel is that you have to choose a Pokedex color, other than that it's the same.

Background: Was just an ordinary Youngster, standing in one place and staring straight ahead. However, one day, at the annual YES (Youngster's Epic Society) meeting, the Elder Youngster (oxymoron!) noticed Claus wasn't wearing shorts, but...sweatpants!!! Because he was disobeying the Sacred Youngster Dress Code, the most important part of the Youngster Law, right before using a Ratatta (which, it was later found out, Claus also disobeyed), so they banished him from the YES. To redeem himself, he decided to go on the L'archel Challenge-or-whatever

Description: Somewhat rugged and travel-weary, Joshua has despised most pokemon since he was burned by a Houndoom as a boy, whose flames cause never-ending pain. His basic attire includes a white-and-red t-shirt with a black, Dragonair-detailed jacket, usually unzipped. His denim is worn and ripped, and his backpack is filled to the brim for any emergency he can think of.
Background: Believing himself to be the only person who realizes how dangerous pokemon are, Joshua usually stays away from the creatures. However, his employers - the International (Global) Police - insist that he finds out about the possible gangs on the L'Archel archipelago, the best way of doing so being undercover as a Pokemon Trainer. Though he obviously wasn't happy with the assignment, he was the youngest member of his squad and thus the most likely to fit in with the Trainer population. And he's being paid twice his normal salary, so he (kind of) got over it.
Preferred Type: Ground, I guess.
Preferred Pokedex Color: ~~Blue.~~ Green.

He has a serious attitude etched on his face, and acts so all the time. He is intelligent, and enjoys books and mythology. He has great interest in the pokemon legend of Giratina, and believes that it was banished for a false crime, and thus wants to redeem it, however possible.
Background: He lived alone for most of his life, having run away from his family, as his mother had died, and his father became a drug addict. After getting attacked and gaining the cut across his neck, he barely survived, due to his limited knowledge of first aid and a nearby hospital. After his near-death experience, he feels closer to Ghost Pokemon, and believes that they are just misunderstood.
