Welcome to PF! I think it's fine as a standalone, but it could use more non-offensive moves. Also, I think 21 might be a bit early for Bug Bite, but Caterpie does learn it at 15. Then again, it's CATERPIE. Not really gonna do much with a physical move. :/

Only thing I can see is that it seems to have a small movepool for a standalone pokemon. Non evolving pokemon that aren't gimmicky like Unown or Ditto tend to have large movelists.

Yea, could possibly use a move or two in there... though my mind is at the moment running on empty, can't think of anything much.

Might I suggest Defense Curl as a nonoffensive move? Plus, it could be learned early. I am not sure about the name because I do not see how its data ties into the word "strike". Some possible alternates are Cavipede (CAVe + centIPEDE), Centisect (CENTIpede + InSECT + SECTion-synonym for segment), Centistrike (CENTIpede + STRIKE), and maybe others? This is a workable standalone if the movelist is lengthened, though. Welcome to PF as well!

How about Cellipede (cellar + centipede), because it's a 'basement bug' and it could be based off the house centipede which lives in basements.

I updated the moveset to include some of the suggested moves.
@Rahjet and KookyKoopa- I named it Instrike because of the fact that centipedes are quick at attacking.
@Gelatop and greek freak- I appreciate the suggestions, but I'd rather keep it a standalone.

This looks pretty good. One thing I would say is that increments of 5 for the movelist is not a good idea. It makes it look forced.

@Jigglyclops- I've had the name Instrike since I designed it, and I'm far too attached to change it. Also, thanks for the compliment! Void is the name of another fan Pokemon of mine, but I'm not going to suggest it. I prefer to keep some of my creations private.

That movelist seems a little weird, with the inclusion of Thunder Fang and all that. And those increments of 7 seem to large for a Bug-type and a stand alone at that.

@Cacapulse- I like the moveset you suggested. I just tend to lean towards increments of 7 when I create movesets. So, I'll change it.
