Oh, there's no reason for persuasion. Miravistel has us mortals all under the thrall of her elaborate illusions. We are entranced, bound to believe what innocent thoughts we want to believe, the cursed facility of the their dark acts and magicks masked in deceit that no mortal could ever find it, even if it were underneath our noses. Miravistel's illusions are flawed, but its flaws are easily glossed over by our desire to believe there is no danger underneath its surface, that it truly is a happy community of creative craft. We are but unknowing acolytes in their more earthly schemes, and those deemed industrious and trusting, they shall test and take unto their league----bind them from their own desire, bind them as they bind the monstrosities of the nether dimensions and the dark seas. Arcaleoh and Alpaquick, Cacapulse and Squirrelay...all trapped in their own and voluntary wish in the folds of this abominable and foul work, blind to the insurmountably terrible, nightmarish things they do---or perhaps merely uncaring in their detached personas, the innocuous engimatic appearances only a pretext to their twisted true shape. For they are part of the Staff now...and once you are Staff, you cannot go back.
