Ruby/Sapphire Remakes. What do you think?

Hoenn, I have to say, out of all regions, was my favorite. Its where I got my sick-nasty Lv. 100 Rayquaza.

If they return Diving in them, they could make it faster - both on the moving department and the action of going up/down. It was fun, but at the same time you could go make a sandwich and eat it in the time between dives. Could expand on the potential places you find by diving though - always found it odd that you can go deep on only handful of places when half of Hoenn are water routes.

When life gives you lemons, you steal the sugar and put it on salt shakers.

Or, with the technology of the 3DS (I think the RS remakes will be on the 3DS) there will be 3-D diving!

Now now, let's not be hasty. I get lost with regular diving sometimes when I come up and then realize I'm nowhere near where I started. x_x Usually I take care not to miss anything by first going through the route only using Surf, and then coming back and hitting all the dive spots. 3D diving would just add another level of difficulty x_x And while I'm thinking about it, they need individual Surfing sprites for pokemon who can learn it. It's weird when my Sneasel turns into a Wailmer when it hits the water. x_x

Actually, when I first heard of HeartGold and SoulSilver, I thought the names for RS remakes might be MuscleRuby and BrainSapphire.

Yes, the remake is possible. But is it really necessary - what did gen 3 offer *new and interesting*, story - or -pokemon -wise that would be considered good enough reason for remake? Gen III's story was weak at best, really. (Though to be fair, so was Gen 2's.)

But there are very few gen 3 pokemon designs that I actually like - Numel, Camerupt, Grumpig, Mightyena(apart from the silly name) come to mind, but those are only few - compared to the dozens of gen I and gen II pokeys I like.

Though, of course, that's just my(biased as hell) opinion and they'll do the remakes *anyway* so it's kinda moot point.
