This is a community work; it could be if everyone would think it more befitting that it is vicious. I would think that it is....less patient than Victreebel, through.

I would think that it is overly aggressive, due to the fact that it is snake-like, after all.

It doesn't have to be really aggressive. Some snakes are docile, like garter snakes. But a cobra certainly would be. If we decide to make it aggressive, maybe we could change the shape of the eyes to reflect that.

Anyone have name suggestions for this guy?

And IMO Mystribel asounds too similar to Hysteribell. How about Slithrbel or Viperbel?
Though I´m not sure if Slithrbel would be accepted either due to its likeliness with Slitherbie.

Hm... how about Gardinabel or Gardibel(l)? This is based on Rahjet's suggestion of Cardibel. Gardinabel/Gardibel(l) uses the 'cardinal' part (in reference to its red belly) and combines that with garden (like how Victreebel has a hint of 'tree' in its name).

I do not like the name Gardibel, actually. It reminds me of Gardenia and Gardevoir.

To be honest, I don't think that a resemblence to a gym leader's name should keep us from accepting a pokémon name... Also, to me, there's enough difference between Gardevoir and Gardibel. You're welcome to suggest different names, though.

(I did suggest different names, actually, on the previous page----Vennobell among them.) I felt that my name suggestions were ignored, and I would not prefer if this suggestion was named Garibel, and not have my opinion on the matter heard. But...at least it is not as bad as Lickilicky.

I didn't like your names Coolsteph... Now I could have said that earlier, but I rather agree than disagree.

It shouldn't matter if Gardibel is similar to Gardenia because she's a human not a pokemon. And it is not too similar to Gardevoir either. So for now three like for Gardibel and two want something else.

Generally, I find that names are never ignored. If it seems people "ignored" your name, it generally means they didn't like it and don't want to say that outright.
Anyways, the reason it reminds of you of Gardenia is because of the "garden" root, which is the whole point in both their names - A grass link.

*nods respectfully* I understand. As it appears I cannot help with names, I shall withdraw from that matter. Gardibell is not that bad, anyway---not worth debating over. As much as I would hope a....more befitting name is devised, if its name shall be Gardibell by public opinion, then so be it. I only hope that I am able to help with other aspects of the idea.
