I agree that Crunch doesn't seem to fit this, since its teeth aren't really meant for biting. I do like the idea of spraying sap like how a spitting cobra sprays venom, though. Is Sticky Sap a move? I can;t seem to find it anywhere.

I naturally based the moves and their levels on Weepinbell and Victreebel, the same way Bellossom's moves are based on Vileplume and Gloom.

And I used all of your moves. The levels should be a parallel to Bellossom - this is meant to make the lines counterparts again.

Sorry about not making it clear. Gloom learns its last move at level 53 (Petal Dance), Vileplume and Bellossom also learn a move at level 53. (Petal Dance and Leaf Storm, respectively)
Weepinbell, on the other hand, learns its last move at level 47 (Wring Out), Victreebel learns Leaf Storm (and Leaf Blade in Platinum onwards) at level 47 also.
So it felt that this evolution needs to learn its new moves at level 47 instead of copying the levels from Bellossom.

EDIT: Apparently, Bellossom learns one more move, but at a lower level: Magical Leaf at level 23.
Maybe this one could have a movelist like this:
-Nectar Bomb
-Vine Whip
-Aromatherapy
-Razor Leaf
-Sunny Day
27-Sticky Sap (Is this move created yet? I'm a bit confused about what you guys are saying)
47-Power Whip
47-SolarBeam

If this one is a more active hunter than Victreebel, maybe Sticky Sap prevents its prey's escape, like Spider Web?

Precisely. It shoots (the new move) Sticky Sap out of its fangs like a spitting cobra, to prevent its (insect) prey from escaping (by sticking the wings together). Then it swallows the insect. Alternatively, it could only use this technique for particularly maneuverable prey that presses its patience by buzzing around too much instead of being compelled into its sweet-smelling throat. It probably has patience, like Victreebel, but not quite as much.

Does anyone think this needs a little more splash of color like Bellossom to not make it look like (no offense) a stretched out Victreebel? A slightly reddish belly perhaps?

(I tried giving it teeth, but it looked incongruous. With a disc-shaped mouth like that, and from that angle, it is difficult to incorporate teeth properly. We can presume that it has teeth that are merely indiscernible from this angle.)

Or maybe they could be sort of retractable or something? That would account for it pretty well. Maybe teeth should wait for the staff concept artists?
