This is probably the closest I have gotten to Sugimori's style. I only need two things now, those splotchy "watermarks", and perfect shading.

Yes, indeed....Beautifully done, and James would have it....but the artistic differences from the previous sketches do disturb me. The yellow spots are much better implemented than the one on my Paint drawing, and the hood, although done differently also, is done well. But for whatever reason does it have red rimming its eyes...? It would seem....inexplicable and random to put that there.

I felt the red spot below the neck seemed out of place from all that green and yellow, so I put some red around the eyes, like evil man-eating plant makeup.

It still seems strange and inexplicable to make it look evil, rather than simply fierce. I was under the impression Hastrebell was more like a garter snake in behavior than a human-eating mamba (for example).

I have to rephrase that, I didn't try to make it look even the slightest but evil at all, I did want it to look fiercer while also fixing the placing of the coloration. It doesn't look inherently evil in my opinion, it just looks, predatory and hungry.

As much as I dislike contradicting myself, maybe we should put Sticky Sap in the movelist like so:
-- Vine Whip
-- Nectar Bomb
-- Razor Leaf
-- Sunny Day
27 Sticky Sap
47 Power Whip
47 Moonlight
So if there's an RPG player that would obtain one, they could get Sticky Sap without a move relearner. (A little like Arcanine with Extremespeed when it was still its signature move)
