The Kecleon began to look guiltily at Gaia, who was wailing very loudly. When Gaia started to stop the constant screaming to breathe, Kecleon slashed at Gaia with a Scratch attack. Gaia tried to dodge, but failed. "It's okay, you're alright! Use a Flail to get back at it!" Lucas called. Gaia shook uncontrollably, trying to bash the reptile with all her might. The Kecleon began a wail of it's own, making Gaia flinch, long enough for it to wag it's long, curled tail. Gaia's hard look softened while watching the cute act, long enough for the long tail to lash out, squeezing her. "Gaia, use Flail to escape!" Lucas shouted worriedly. He was scared for his Pokémon. Gaia thrashed around, trying to inflict pain on the vicous reptile. Deciding to finally use it's powers to its advantage, Kecleon turned invisible, and slinked away, unseen. Then, just as it seemed that the Kecleon was gone for good, the familiar wail of an Astonish sounded, and it was back. Kecleon opened it's mouth, and flicked a long tongue out. It taunted Gaia with the body part, and then turned it invisible. The Kecleon used the unseen limb to forcefully Lick Gaia with it's rough tongue, causing damage. Gaia thrashed about without being told this time. The Bonsly attacked wildly, in pure rage. She was so violent, she caused Kecleon to disappear and reappear repeatedly, trying to escape. Lucas even felt a powerful scrape on his hand from a phantom limb, no doubt from the half-invisible Kecleon. Gaia pulled away, gasping for air, along with Kecleon. The extremely short truce allowed Lucas to fumble through his pack, and grab a spare PokéBall, and throw it at the chameleon. The reptile was enveloped in a red light, which absorbed it, into the orb. The ball began to shake.

As soon as Lucas thought the strong Pokémon would pop back out, he heard a small 'ding' noise, and knew that he had a new partner. Scooping up Gaia and Kecleon's ball, he released the lizard.

"Ke, eon, ke." The reptile chirped at it's new master. "So, being that you can disappear and all, perhaps you would like the name of Nobody," Lucas told the Kecleon. Nobody chirped at it's new nickname, and while it released it's excitement, Lucas scanned over it with a PokéDex. "Hmm, it seems that you're male, and know a lot of moves. You'll be a good partner." Lucas said to nobody (pun not intended) in particular.

Lucas walked back to his group, and greeted Ethan and Chris when he arrived. "Chris, Ethan, I would like you to meet my newest Pokémon, Nobody." He gestured towards his Kecleon, who had disappeared again without Lucas' knowledge.
