Lonesome trudged onwards down the dull brown path. He glanced up. Vutelle seemed happy about something again. "What are you so happy about now, Vutelle?" He asked, in the cracked voice he had gained so long ago. Vutelle looked down, before answering happily; "You know how we Pixetal usually stay in flower fields? Well I can smell berry flowers! Soon, we will cross a berry path. We'll have so much fun!". Lonesome sighed. He'd never get used to the excitable thing Vutelle was.
He stared down the path. "It seems you were right, Vutelle." He said in a somewhat interested voice. "That does look like a berry field ahead of us..." Vutelle squealed in delight, and sped up ahead of him. Blinking in annoyance, Lonesome tapped the ground with his half foot before speeding up. He might as well pick up some berries...
From the dark underbush on the left side of the path, a tiny voice called to itself. "Rrrrrrrevenge... Rrrrevenge...". Something small, fast, and Electric shot off through the undergrowth. The other Shockroach must know of The Survivor and his Companion's stop. They will know.
Lonesome caught up with Vutelle at the end of the path. Grass and berries filled the clearing around them, with many pokemon happily playing in the area. With a pang of sadness, Lonesome saw an unfamiliar Sapnot carefully carrying a group of Seedum in it's branches. A Jumpluff floated happily along, and a Munchlax was chowing down. A Plusle and Minun were sitting and arguing with each other a few feet away, and a Lotad(must be a pond nearby, he thought) was watching them suspiciously, and he thought he saw a Symphonoo stealthily watching the others. Vutelle immediately rushed off to talk with another Pixetal that was carefully tending some flowers. "I think I'll stop here for a while." He said, and laid down for a small rest.
