Being the horribly biased creature that I am and an proud owned of lvl 100 Crobat(and planning another!), my vote goes to the lovely purple bat with four wings.

I love Crobat!! First of all, it's a Poison-type PKMN (which I am ridiculously biased towards). Second of all, it's actually useful (unlike its previous stages), e.g. it's a fast PKMN that learns Mean Look. Who wouldn't want it so they could catch a Raikou/Entei-esque running PKMN?

Crobat brings back bad memories of LeafGreen; continually having to press the 'B' button over and over again because I couldn't evolve my Golbat until I got the National Dex! Don't get me wrong. I love Crobat. He was awesome when the first made him and he is still awesome, but he did cause me to really dislike something in a Pokemon game.

Long story short, I vote for Pichu.

That's really nasty. I never had it happen to me myself, not having raised Eevee, Golbat, or Chansey until I got the national dex, but from what I've heard it's annoying and weird. "I can't evolve because you don't have the right pokedex yet!" o_o You didn't have an everstone?

Got DANG it is hard to choose on this one. On one hand, Pichu is actually kinda okay on its own merits. It's a fitting pre-evolution to the series' mascot, and it can learn one of the most devastating Electric-type moves ever. Not to mention, it was a playable character in Melee, so it's definitely got some recognition outside of its home turf.

On the other hand, Crobat is much more cool. Its big, snaggle-toothed grimace, its four, sickle-like wings, its general awesomeness as compared to Golbat (which is already pretty awesome)... despite all the fame and fortune Pichu's been raking in, I'm going with Crobat on this one.

I have to go with the flow, I choose Crobat for most of the reasons stated above. Though I must say Pichu is cool as well, probably my favorite member of the Pikachu family.
