Roy breathed in the fresh, grassy air of Anchore Town. This is it, thought Roy, here's my shot. One chance to start my career! Roy sucked up a big, confident breath and walked up to the Laboratory door. He knocked, lightly.

"Oh!" Roy said, a bit surprised. "I'd have thought you would be a bit... erm, older." Roy paused for a second. "N-never mind! I'm, uh, I'm here for a Pokemon. Yeah, that's all."

Aaron chuckled. "You were probably expecting Prof. Idaho, then. He's unfortunately away at the moment; I'm his aide, Aaron, and I'm taking care of the lab in his absence. Come right in and we can get you started with your pokemon." He led Roy inside the lab to a few tables on which rested several groups of pokeballs. "If you know which pokemon you want, feel free to pick one. Or if you nedd to know what choices we have, I can explain them to you."
