Fawnado sounds the best to me, and it's another link to Stantler(Fawntler). I don't think this line has an evolution either.

As for Wind Jab vs. Wind Hoof, what's wrong with "signature moves"? I kind of like the idea of it being Wind Hoof and being at least pseudo-exclusive. Wind Jab sounds like something you'd do with hands/forearms rather than with hard hooves.

I actually prefer to change Wind Hoof to anything that is more usable. There are no physical Wind moves, so if we create new ones, at least they have to be usable for future Pokémon, and also not every Pokémon needs a signature move. Stantler does not have any, if this are finally counterparts, why this have to do it?

I agree, besides I don´t know how Wind hoof would look.
Oh and still Fawnado sounds too much like Fawntler+Overusedwordonnames to my liking, besides a tornado is stronger than a breeze.

I like the sound of the names Gazzale and Breezelle. They fit nicely together and, indeed, are a bit more creative than Fawnado.

Awwn, I liked Fawnado, but granted Gazzale is not bad either.

As for Wind Hoof, I can easily imagine that; like a bucking horse/donkey, back hooves hitting - and a "lucky"(read: intentional) wind boosting that.

If there is a shortage of physical Wind moves for another pokemon suggestion soon, what's preventing to create then something it can use? Not every move has to be "learnable by anything of the type", either. You don't see Bonemerang on every Ground type either, do you?

Signature moves can exist, they are fun, make the pokemon more interesting and even if this is a counterpart to Stantler... why would that prevent it from having a signature move?

And yes, I am extremely biased and like my (ass-)kicking hooved pokemon. My Rapidash will have Double Kick just because

I'm fine with Gazalle. 'Gazelle' means 'bright-eyed' and Gazalle sounds a little like 'gaze'. Can somebody do a sketch of Gazalle?

Changing Gazzale to Gazalle is fine. I went scouting and found that the females horns are slightly smaller.

Gazzale = gah-sail (Gazelle+Gale)
Gazalle = gay-sahl (?)

Yeah, that's right Jigglyclops. I went to see a herd and saw a Breezelle fighting a Stantler. The Gazalle were playing with Fawntler. Apparently, they have sorts of 'family reunions' a few times a year. This definitley proves they're related.

Sorry guys, failed to catch a picture of Gazalle(having this thing called 'Real Life' stopped my expedition cold), but I guess we have a vague description based on occasional sightings by now; it's a smaller, weaker(and thinner) version of Breezelle that also doesn't sport nearly as much mane (you can actually see it's eyes), equipped with mere stubs of horns.

When life gives you lemons, you steal the sugar and put it on salt shakers.

Right?

They also have a stripe down their tail (went scouting again today). I chunked a few Pokeballs at a Gazalle, but it was protected by the older Breezelle. I'm going to try again soon.

You're all still using "Gazalle", which I think we shouldn't, also for the reason ZeldaFan mentioned (it being too close to "gazelle").

I misread your post ,ShinE, sorry. I'll start calling it Gazzale. I've bought a few ultraballs so I can catch a Gazzale.

Edit: I managed to catch a newborn Gazzale. I have to wait until it can eat solid food before I can study it. I'm going to name it Cyclone.

Edit2: Cyclone seems to like playing with his tornado. He bounces it on his head and tosses it around. It destroyed my notes I had made on his behavior. I geuss I'll just have to start from scratch.

Edit3: They can definitely learn Breeze. There tornado's grow when they use an attack, and shrink back down when there done. They learn Stomp at level 22 like Fawntler. They probably have Steadfast or Speed Boost because of how fast they are.

I just had a thought. Wind hoof could be an EXCELLENT egg move (examples: ponyta, fawntler, taureno).
