I'm not sure where the other sites are getting the information on the names. It must be on another page because I don't see anything about names and classifications on the scan provided.

You guys should stop making fun of the water-types nose. If it is indeed a sea otter than you look at pictures of a sea otter and you'll see a rather large, round nose on them as well.

The fire starter resembles a pig more than a cow and serebii.net's information about the Grass-starter being a 'snake' is probably wrong. Of course I can't tell because all that information must be on the other page. -__-'

@JDLJDL: Could please provide a link where you found out that Orre is based on Arizona. I don't believe it is.

Wait, we were waiting for COROCORO to leak? Then all that time I spent last night in the basement with a bucket was for nothing...

Anyway, Tsutaja is my favorite. Pokabu doesn't look like it has ANYTHING to do with fire, and Mijumaru looks WAYYY too much like Piplup in terms of shape and color.

Definitely Grass for me. There's also some interesting info about the new games. The characters are indeed older, looking like the late teens. Plus, apparently Zoruark has a signature move called Illusion, which is pretty much like Transform.

Meh, the Grass starter looks too much like Grovyle to me.
@Squirrilay: Huh, I'm pretty sure I saw that on Wikipedia and Bulbagarden... but now it's gone.

EDIT: What do you think of the new main characters? I think Nintendo has run out of hairstyles.

You know, I'm actually starting to like the otter. It kinda looks like [ (Piplup * Mime Jr.) - beak ], but it has a certain charm, I'll be looking forward to see what it evolves into.

The similarities between the new Grass starter and the Treecko line are only superficial methinks, but again we'll have to see how the evos turn up.

I like all three of the starters ^-^ The Water one is cute ^^ And so is the Fire one. I agree with Antarctros that it'd be nice if it evolved into an ugly warthrog.
Of course, the Grass one beats them all XD

Yeah, those freckles are horrible. You know, the water is starting to grow on me too... when I'm not looking at it.
The pig's color scheme is just so bad. If it had a better color scheme... ugh. Okay, what I mainly dislike about the otter is that its nose is orange.
Ugh, every time I go back and look at the pig... it's cute, but that black and orange.... ugh. Also, I was totally going to inb4 ShinE loving the grass type but was at school. >.<
The grass type looks great, and I'm actually liking the otter more than the pig now. THe pig just... hurts my eyes.
Grass type is so chill. You wish you were as cool as him.

I agree with the evolution idea. I personally am not a big fan of Piplup, but Empoleon is one of my favorite Pokemon. It will be interesting to see how they evolve a cute little otter like that. But the Grass one is still the best.

It seems its actually its Ability, which is awesome because it doesn't take a moveslot to be like Ditto.

I'm wondering now if the Grass Starter is some sort of poison ivy, or eventually turn into one. For all the awesomeness that is Bulbasaur, please do!

Wow. Just, wow. Mijumaru's resemblance to the real thing is uncanny. And Squirrelay's right! They do have huge noses. I have no reason now whatsoever to dislike their designs.

Me too, *laughs* but still, at least I know the designers weren't on drugs or something when they came up with it. It has the white face and all!
I hate those crazies on other forums saying sea otters aren't original anymore because of Buizel. Buizel is a freaking orange fish-dog. That one was the worse idea.
