soble is right, hold the sarcasm there. I hope you realize we didn't enjoy closing for so long either.
The main reason for the lenthy process of the last switch was not the fact that we needed to adapt ourselves to the new dex style, but the fact that we had an enormous backlog of RSE suggestions that still needed to be sketched, sprited and dexed. Note that we're doing our best to prevent such a backlog from happening again, hence the suggestion limits and the slower process of approving pokémon. It's better to wait a bit with approving, so that, if needed, unreviewed suggestions can be changed to BW-style.
So, no, we will not spend another 2 years on a new switch.

Yea, Diving was pretty fun, though also agonizingly slow when you had to go up and down multiple times.

Dive FTW! Lack of encounters, except in the grass with a low encounter rate? Waay better than the boring old surface. One thing never made sense to me, though- you could find Corsola and such with a Super Rod, implying they were deep underwater, but they couldn't be found while diving.
