Conversely, there's a curious lack of Water-types, at least when compared with previous generations. Something else that surprises me is the large amount of anthropomorphic pokémon they introduced. On the other hand, there are also many that are delightfully bizarre, like the Gear line. All in all, I must say I like most of the new designs, and there's practically no one that I actually hate (the evolution of the Water monkey comes close, though). My personal favorites have to be the terrier pokémon, they're awesome.

Overall, there are quite some three-stage lines, which I'm quite fond of. A lot of pokémon I feared would be standalones evolve as well, loving that. And I agree with Antarctros that I love the fact that there are more 'bizarre' pokémon; we really needed more of those! All of the lines feel complete to me, and the lack of (pre-)evos of previous generation pokémon really helps, I think. I love them all, really. Monmon is still my favorite B/W pokémon The ones I like less are either standalone pokémon (the Fire-type and the ant, for example) and a lot of the legendaries. I'd be happier if the legends were just those cloud genies and Rehiram/Zekrom; I don't care much for the others. Speaking of which, could the Dragon/Ice Kyuremu be the cover for the third game? It seems to be the third dragon and its color is grey.
