That.. actually doesn't look half bad. But there are some things to note:

The edges look too pointy, especially on giratiny, which I suspect is supposed to look like a fat worm.
The poses seem... meh. Try to spice it up by giving them personality.

Also, make the shading a bit more... subtle? I guess, try to make it blend more.

It's subtle enough. Try to make the shading circular. If you look at official sprites, you will notice that most of the bright parts are circular. This will work especially well with both of your Pokémon, as they are round-ish.

Right, and on NEU.F.O, put only three shades on its body. That bottom edge of dark gray is unnecessary.

Ooh, they're lighter. However, it's not the arms that have problems... it's the body!
Gratiny looks wondeful, though.

Better, but still not quite. That dark edge at the bottom right bit of the body shouldn't be there, and again, the shading would look better if it were round.

Flarsy, what you CAN try is right-clicking on the X where the picture is supposed to be and selecting 'Show Picture'. If it doesn't work, try deleting your temporary internet files under 'Delete Browsing History'. That is, if you have Windows like me.

Now THAT looks good. However, I have a few tips. The highlight is almost NEVER on the very edge as it was with the other N.E.UFO. It's somewhere in the middle, close to the edge. On Giratiny, take the shading into account more - for example, you have a highlight directly underneath its head, which should block the light. And you made the beginner's mistake of just making whatever is closer to the light brighter - think of how light curves around the body.

My advice? Sprite a few spheres. I'm not kidding. It helped my shading a lot, and when I did a water ball as a sprite for someone, (Patricol?) It actually really helped.

Great start, though.

Spheres FTW!
Though, you may want to anti-alias a bit the four lines coming out of the eye. They look out of place without it.

I don't think anti-aliasing is the key since pokemon sprites generally stick to a few limited shades, but plain old shading. Grooves receive shading too. Also, din't make them pure black as a base color, but a dark gray. Also, your highlight outline color should preferably be the same shade as your shading color or similar, and the base outline color darker than that.
