The shadows of evil threaten the region of Tuloh. An evil team, Team Comet, believe that they are destined to receive the power to take over worlds from alien Pokemon. To achieve their goals (and to reach Star Peak, the highest mountain in Tuloh), they will cheat, steal, and cause havoc. The professor of the region, Prof. Cherry, has called forth any trainer who is willing to battle Team Comet and stop them from using the power of the space Pokemon to set the world on edge. Their plans go deep, deeper than most mortals are willing to find out, so one has to be daring and diligent!
On a happier note, the Tuloh League is starting soon, and those trainers who are willing to challenge the best gather in Shard Town to pick up their starters. Since Tuloh has contact with each of the regions, trainers can feel free to choose whichever starter they wish.
GRASS: Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, Turtwig, Youthistle, Holliguana and Nutreed
FIRE: Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Comolten, Xoskillitn, and Agunni
WATER: Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, Piplup, Sukus, Ninemone, and Cherippo
This is a map of Tuloh, the region on which the RP takes place. It's slightly more "fantastic" than other regions, and it's rumored that a higher power makes its home here.
S: Shard Town, the start of any new trainer's journey in Tuloh. Professor Cherry is willing to give away her starter Pokemon to trainers.
A: Prism City. While not a gym town, Prism City is a small city that houses very friendly folks. Rocks might block the path later, perhaps here you will find a way to Smash them?
1: Rubyd City, the home of the first Gym. Since Rubyd is near a dig site, the gym leader, Slata, uses a lot of prehistoric Pokemon on her team. If you beat her you will win the Bone Badge.
B: Abandoned Plant. When you first arrive at the bridge to Palo City you will find that it is closed due to an infestation of Grimer. Brave trainers must go towards the Abandoned Plant to drive off the invaders.
2: Palo City, home of the second gym. Brandon loved to test trainers' patience so he has gotten his hands on Pokemon that love to change type! If you can beat his Pokemon, normal types such as Kecleon and Porygon, you will earn the Patience Badge.
C: Emeri Town. A small forest village, it leads right to Safira Town and Palo City. There's not much here, but a woodsman may give you a way to Cut through the undergrowth of the nearby forest.
3: Emeri Forest, supposed home of the third gym. There are rumors that Rosie, the third gym leader, makes her home in these woods, and gives the Flower Badge to any who can beat her Grass Pokemon party.
D: Safira City. A coastal city that has connections to Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Bombur. Water-type Pokemon love this place, and strangely, Magic-type Pokemon do as well. You can find a lot of people here who enjoy Surfing, and some may teach the ability to you.
4: Safira Sea. Not many people tell a lot about the sea surrounding Tuloh (except that it has powerful Water-types), but the strangest rumors involve the fourth Gym beneath the sea, with a gym leader named Marina. If you can beat this supposed gym leader's Water-types you may earn the Scale Badge.
E: Hallow's Isle. A long time ago, a prince died here and cursed the land around him to be perpetually dark and gloomy. Ghost- and Dark-types thrive here, but passing trainers are to be warned! If you get scared don't hesitate to Fly far away!
5: Isla Garna, home of the fifth gym. Garna City is situated near a dormant volcano. Vulcan, the fifth gym leader, and his Fire-types, may prove challenging, but those who succeed will end up with the Inferno Badge.
F: Permafrost Point. In contrast from the hot, tropical weather of Isla Garna, Permafrost Point is cold and snowy. Those who can make their way through the harsh winter weather and Ice-type Pokemon could go through the Whirlpools near the island to reach Amet City.
6: Amet City, home of the sixth gym. The largest city in Tuloh, it has connections to Johto and Kanto. Jack, the sixth gym leader, and his Dark-types, may be threatening, but going on with the Shadow Badge will be reward in itself.
G: Diman Pass. A mountain pass going through the Diman Mountains, it's filled to the brim with Rock- and Steel-type Pokemon. The Rocks that make up the mountain might be able to be Climbed, though...
H: Comet HQ. Comet's headquarters are here. If you fight your way through the complex, the leader of Team Comet, the enigmatic Master, will be yours for the picking.
I: Star Peak. The tallest mountain in Tuloh, it can be seen anywhere in the eastern continent. There are rumors that this mountain is a gateway to the heavens, and Team Comet wants to exploit this legend. Let's hope your Pokemon have the Strength to get through this mountain.
7: Diman City, home of the seventh gym. A frigid, windy mountaintop city, Christine's Wind-type party could be a hassle to face, but don't let her blow you away. She gives away the Northwind Badge if you defeat her.
J: Perl Desert. An expanse of plain and desert. Ground-types are here, as well as Fire-types. Many claim to see dragons making their way from canyontop to canyontop.
8: Perl City, home of the eighth gym. This city is quite reverent of dragons, and its gym leader, Long, is no exception. His Dragon-type team is a formidable force, but the Wyrm Badge will cleanse all fears of being a Pokemon Master.
K: Victory Road. Those who have gotten all eight badges of Tuloh will go through Victory Road. A cave complex with various Waterfalls dotting the area. If only there was a way to climb them in the caves....
E: Gioda Palace. The final stop for any good Pokemon trainer, Gioda houses the powerful Elite Four, and their master, the Champion of the Tuloh League. Only a master trainer can claim the title!
EDIT: Since this topic seems to be collecting dust, I should probably go into detail about how to sign up for it. You can sign up as a trainer or a Team Comet executive.
Prof. Cherry, the Team Comet leader and his two admins, and the gym leaders will be controlled by me, unless I change my mind. For all characters you must specify name, age (Trainers should be from 10 to 17, no older or younger, and Team Comet executives should be 18 or older), and Pokemon.
For Trainers, the starter they will choose, and for Team Comet executives, the party they will have. It could be subject to change so they don't have to stick with the party for the whole RP. For the most part (there are exceptions), Team Comet likes to use Pokemon that are associated with outer space (such as Clefairy-line, the Comolten-line, Lemuria-line, Mysteroid-line, etc.). Go ahead and sign up!
