Balsam Town
This is where every trainer begins their journey, at the hometown of Professor Crowe! Situated in a forest clearing, Balsam is a small town, one with nature. The residents are laid back, and they enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Outset Road
The "Route 1" of Laparadiso, Outset Road is the only way in and out of Balsam Town. It's small, short, and out of the way, so wild Pokemon congregate here rather often.

Located to the north of Balsam Town, Lilac is home to your rival. Who he/she is, you don't know right now, but rest assured they'll be competing with you. Lilac is also home to a Water-type gym, but the leader's nowhere to be seen...!

Lake Argent
The silver waters of Lake Argent lay to the east of Lilac Town. A fishing guru lives here, and will gladly give you an Old Rod.

Poplar Town
Continuing west from Lilac, Poplar Town is a mid-sized area that is situated atop the crest of a nearby valley. Its overlook is a sight that shouldn't be missed by any trainer! There is a Gym here that specializes in the Ground type.

Rainy Hole
A small cavern situated near Poplar Town, this is an optional area to explore. Poking around here gets you some Rock- and Bug-type Pokemon, so good for you I guess!

Charcoal Town
This small town just outside of Poplar Town is home to the "Helping Hand Daycare", run by the Poplar Gym Leader's brother. Also located here is a conspicuous building, marked: "TEAM ROCKET! DO NOt enter."

Charcoal Cavern
The first big dungeon of the game, Charcoal Cavern is situated right outside of Charcoal Town, and passes straight through Mt. Bastion. Inside this darkened cave, one can find any number of poisonous and rocky Pokemon, as well as Trainers willing to fight! It has also been said that, deep within Charcoal Cavern, there lay a strangely-colored Pokemon. Nobody knows if this is fact or fiction, but it doesn't hurt to try and find out...!

Mountainside Road
Leaving Charcoal Cavern, the player will walk down a short mountain route toward Autumn City, one of Laparadiso's largest towns! Not much to see or do here, but there's a single Pokemon to find here that's possibly worth it!
