Archer City
Use your wits to get to the goal!
Use Rental Pokémon to help you!
The fun is the challenge!
Archer City is a challenge, a little like the Battle Factory, of using one’s wits to overcome obstacles and navigate through unconventional and unexpected terrain. Archer City consists of a round, labyrinth-like maze, where one must conquer challenges of various kinds in order to get to the goal, the center of the maze. The maze is not entirely symmetrical---there are different kinds of terrain at each side. Along the way, through, you will be able to capture or befriend rental Pokémon in the maze to help you with their abilities----Lotad to help you swim through a dam’s waters, Geodude to help you climb cliffs. Nearly everyone who trains with Pokémon is eligible for the challenge, whether Pokémon Trainers, Breeders, Coordinators or Rangers. In the maze, there are members of the maze’s staff which offer you services, if they receive something in return. Procuring treasure hidden within the earth for a swashbuckler will grant you a secret way to acquire Pokémon, a Trainer you defeat will give you bait to distract the hordes of fierce Fearow further in.
There are two ways of describing Archer City: One, I could provide you a complete map of this round’s maze. Two, I could provide you a partial map, which you can build as you delve further in, adding details that other players can use as they come through.

EDIT: I have decided to simply add a map for the participants to use. The yellow ridged area is an area consisting of a jumble of bronze blocks, platforms, catwalks and pathways, like a hollow city rendered in metal. It is here that additional Poké Balls can be acquired from 'merchants', by means of bartering goods or services----a treasure that was the reward of helping someone else within the maze, or the task of retrieving a pesky Treecko. The Poké Ball symbols interspersed throughout portions of the maze show prime Pokémon-catching spots. The stair-like brown stripes are cliffs and ledges, where Geodude can be found.
Trainers are given three Poké Balls to use, although they can acquire a little more under the right circumstances in the maze, while Rangers are permitted only to capture three Pokémon (due to being fairly easier to capture the Pokémon when “unarmed” with other Pokémon). Your Pokémon shall be held by Archer City’s staff for your challenge in the maze, like rental Pokémon in the Battle Factory. Since you acquire your rental Pokémon inside the maze, instead of being presented with some, this means that you might have to use unconventional methods to acquire Pokémon, such as wrestling with it until it is weakened enough for you to capture in a Poké Ball.
