Type: Wind/Ghost
Description: a small, black ball of soot with white eyes. Around it is thin, transparent black cloud of soot. Thats it.
Data: SOOTMATIS are found all over creaky, old, abandoned houses. Recently, it was found that the dust cloud took the form of the Roman Empire.
Evolution: Sotler-Lv. up @ full happiness-Sotmatis-Lv. up to Lv. 30 Male-Caesoot

I would have gone with ground type for this but I like it none the less. Very cool line.

How about, instead of Sotking and sotqueen, you use more latin words? Like...for the male, Rexot/Recsot (Rex, meaning king, and soot), or maybe Sotminus (Soot and Dominus, which means lord). Dustata for the female (Dust and Amata, who was a queen from Roman myth?)

Maybe you could use something like Caesoot (CAESar + sOOT) for the male and maybe Dustpatra (DUST + cleoPATRA) for the female

...just a thought, maybe the later evolutions could be a bit roman in appearance. Like, you know, the dust could be sort of like the remains of the roman empire, or something.

I have names for the final two evolutions:

Dustati (DUSt + desTATI (italian for "awaken!")) and Sootomnis (SOOT + sOMNIS (latin for "sleep"))

I figure that Dustati could be a little newer looking and much more... muchier, while Sootomnis could be older looking and have sleepy eyes and darker/denser soot. Also, what is their body type?
