These are the rules for the Fan RPG. Read these before making an RPG or registering for one.
#1 Registration
For anyone who wishes to start an RPG must first post them in the Registration Forum (the members should have their own). The Game Master or the leader of the RPG should write a decent sized plot summary so that those who wish to join have a good idea of what they are up against. If your RPG takes place in a location that is not official, take the time to describe the region. What kind of people live there? What are some of the geographical landmark? Etc. If you are taking the RPG to a familiar place such as Kanto, Johto, etc. explain what is happening now. Are there new gym leaders, elite four, or have there been any interesting news of events that have occured. Try to give as much detail as possible and if the Staff find anything lacking then they will ask you through PM. You will be expected to answer all their questions and to make the necessary edits to your RPG registration.
We allow one RPG per member at a time.
#2 Signing up for an RPG
Those who wish to join RPG's are required to give a detailed description of their character in much of the same way as Pokemon Factory League.
Name: What is your character's name. Do they have a nickname?
Gender: Are you a male or a female?
Age: How old are you?
Description: This is both a description of both your character's physical description and their personality.
The Game Master is allowed to require any other type of information. The Game Master is also allowed to approve and disapprove any character they wish, even if the information that you have provided is acceptable. If this occurs we ask you to accept the Game Master's decision and to go try another RPG. You may sign up for as many RPG's as you would like, but it may be a wise idea to not keep the same character for each RPG you join, so that things don't get repetitive. If you are turned down then you have a right to know the reason and the Game Master will be required to give one.
#3 Bombur is not allowed
To maintain consistency we are not allowing member RPG's to take place in Bombur. If we see this the topic will be immediately closed, no exceptions. All Pokemon Factory pokemon EXCEPT FOR LEGENDARIES may be used in other RPG's. Nintendo legendaries are allowed, though.
#4 Role of the Game Master
The Game Master is the leader of the RPG and whatever he says goes. He is there to put forth situations in front of the members of the RPG and is the only one allowed to move the story forward. The Game Master is not allowed to choose favorites, in other words giving a specific member an advantage over the other members. If anybody feels that the Game Master is being unfair than contact me and I will look into the case. If any of the members get unruly then the Game Master holds the right to ban them from the RPG. This will be enforced by the Staff if the action is warranted.
#6 Addressing Rule Breakers
Do not directly reply in an RPG that someone is breaking the rules. Contact me or another one of the Staff and we will handle it. <BR>
#7 Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the stealing of written or spoken work in part or whole. This is not allowed and could result in the immediate closure of the topic and the suspension of membership to the forum. If you find any case of plagiarism contact the Staff immediately.
#8 No Advertising
The forum is not here to advertise your own forum or your own website. If we see this, then the topic will be shut down immediately.
This is as far as I have gotten. If you have more rules please state them and if you feel that one of the rules that I've written should be reworded then please speak up. I would like this put into affect as soon as possible.

#9 No Outside Pokemon: To minimize confusion within RPG threads, we are only allowing the usage of Nintendo pokémon and of archived PF pokémon; we are not allowing non-PF member-created pokemon in RPGs.
