Not necessarily; both the butterflies and Venomoth show Psychic powers despite not being said type. It can be Ground-based without being an actual Ground-type, you know. It's a matter of "which type it is more", not necessarily "which type it should be according to common sense"

Yeah, and almost ALL Normal types learn moves of every other type. So it is indeed common sense. Also, it's the poison moths and Butterfree, because Beautifly shows Absorption powers while Dustox is the one using Psybeam.

Hm... if we were to stick with the Psychic-type (which seems most logical to me), maybe you could do something with the Stix family of owls. They are also known as 'earless owls'. You could take that to the extreme, and make these deaf, thus only relying on their sight and psychic abilities.

Oh wow, I've been gone longer than I thought. To get approved, I will give it it's own line. I'll change it so it looks more like an Oriental Bay Owl(they look awesome), and I'll make it a second form. And I'll take suggestions! Yay, we're all happy!
