Probopass' stats are as follows:

HP:60
A:55
D:145
SA:75
SD:150
S:40

Alex wanted to make it more attack oriented instead of defense oriented, so he switched special defense with attack. I think that it should be an entire switch, so something like:

HP:60
A:150
D:75
SA:145
SD:55
S:40

So i pretty much switched D with SA to make it much more attack oriented, not a mixture oriented. Not that these would be the final stats necessarily, but they are better than the current ones.

Okay, pretty simple solution:

Anthropass:
HP: 60
A: 75
D: 150
SA: 55
SD: 145
S: 40

I've just switched Probo's physical and special over.

But SoR's solution could work too, I'm having trouble deciding. My solution makes him extremely similar to Probo in stats, but is that a bad thing?

Yes. Why have two different evolutions if they have the same stats? I like SoR's better, because Anthropass is a Fighting type, and is more offensively-based, so higher Attack stats make more sense.

I rather like SoR's idea, as it allows it to also work with the Nosepasses line unusually high special attack(for rocks)

Heck, you could even do this:
Anthropass:
HP: 40
A: 125
D: 100
SA: 120
SD: 80
S: 60

I switched HP and Speed, then took 25 off of each of the attack stats and added them onto the respective defenses.

With all of his weaknesses and the 40 base HP, he won't be broken, but still able to come in on resists and such.

I'm liking your current solution, NARFNra, not sure about the HP/speed switch though, Anthro is based on a statue who doesn't really move much, so maybe lower speed works as it is. He definitely needs decent defenses though, I have the mental image of him taking attacks without moving an inch.

Well, 60 speed ties him with Swampert, Porygon2, Empoleon, Wailord, and Whiscash, while 40 speed ties him with Camerupt, Kecleon, Rhyperior,f Forretress, and such.

The real reason I did that was mostly to keep him from taking physical hits to well to be fair. You could just make them both 50, though. That's how fast the Regis are.

The pun is that we're splitting the two stats 50/50, meaning neither stat is any larger than the other (like splitting a pie 50/50), and that both stats are at 50.
