-___- Would you be happy then if I removed the antennae? Besides the wings (which are part of Pixetal anyway), that's the only thing insect-like about her.

No. I would be happy if you used my kickass fairy girl picture instead, lol xP
But yeah, I guess removing the antenna would be a start... But nah, I'm not gonna be happy with it either way.
I hope you don't take this persoanlly by the way! I have nothing against you ^_^ And I did love Medusiren if it makes you feel any better :P
I just really feel that a pokemon based on a Nymph should look like a girl and not a bug. Maybe there should be a poll.

EDIT: Did you think so? The whole thing looks very insect like to me, it reminds me of Ledian.

It shouldn't look TOO humanlike though....Pixetal looks VERY much like a bug to me so I tried to capture some of that "insect essence" in Nymphetal without really making it an actual insect. The antennae were in Flarsable's original sketch and.... to be honest I'm not very fond of them. But if I remove them, Nymphetal's head looks bare. Which, actually, makes sense considering Pixetal's head is bare. If you ask me, it's called a "nymph" not because it resembles a human girl, but because it is a sprite that protects the trees.

I think my drawing looks a lot closer to your original drawings. I think it's too alien now. It's round head doesn't do anything for me either :P Heck, just cos it evolves from Pixetal doesn't mean it has to look very similar, look at Snorunt's evo line! O_o And yeah, I suppose.... but if you loook at the original nymphs of Greek Mythology, they're all girl like in appearance.

True, nymphs do look like human girls in the original myth. But.... I didn't want it to look too much like a human because... I don't think there are a whole lot of recent Pokemon that look EXTREMELY human. And mostly for good reason. *points at Hitmonchan, Mr. Mime, and Jynx, and shudders* As far as I see Pokemon like Snorunt to Glalie/Froslass or Remoraid to Octillery are exceptions. For the most part I believe that Pokemon should resemble their pre-evolved forms, or they'd look like they should be stand-alone.

I don't think my one looks much like a human anyway, it looks like a fairy. I was thinking along the lines of Ralts/Kirlia with a bit more of a Grass type feel. And butterfly wings :P

Hair sounds good. And give it pink "clothes" like your original. It is meant to be female only, it should have something to show for it.

I made the hair kind of like a leaf. So... XD It'd look kind of strange parted. And yeah... no offense but you are being kinda picky. Not trying to be disagreeable! I would change it but I'm at my grandparents' house and the drawing is on the computer at MY house. I can't edit it right now. .__.

If you want it to look more capable of being a protector, maybe it could have longer limbs. I'm going to do a sketch, hopefully you'll like it...

EDIT: Here it is. I tried to stick to your design but just give it longer limbs. But I forgot the wings, oops O_o

Ps. It's using Energy Ball :P
